    Clinical Sales Consultant

    The Clinical Sales Consultant is accountable for managing customer relationships to ensure customers receive value and Return on Investment from VitalAire products and services. Recognising opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling through regular contact, including face to face visits, and monitoring of Customer needs.

    • Identifying opportunities and setting up meetings with relevant stakeholders. 
    • To educate and inform the doctors about VitalAire(VA) services, products and equipment. 
    • Organize group training with doctors and nursing staff and administration regarding marketing and sales documentation.
    • Monitoring of patient compliance and reporting back to the prescribing doctors. 
    • Manage own territory, ability to travel country trips and monitor and research development and changes in assigned territories.
    • Engage in continuous learning to exhibit a thorough understanding of VA products and solutions.
    • Following up and monitoring customer queries and complaints through effective interdepartmental communication to ensure timeous resolution.
    • Conducting effective preparation for appointments and engaging in continuous research on  customer needs and options, current market position, Industry opportunities and challenges
    • Setting-up meetings with prospective customers to diagnose needs, create value and present solution offerings. Ensures profitability for VA and effective service delivery to customers.
    • Contributing to monthly sales related reports and tracking sales performance against targets. 
    • Engaging in consistent research to build a thorough knowledge and understanding of territory, current industry, market and competitor trends and developments.

    Project Manager - Edenvale

    Reporting to the Managing Director, the Project Manager is responsible for the overall management and results of a number of projects, interfacing between the Air Liquide client and the E&C offices in Champigny and Johannesburg. They are responsible for the control of those activities leading to the successful completion of an engineering project, from feasibility through basic and detailed engineering to construction, commissioning support and the final issue of all documentation. A team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels, the Project Manager will lead a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and be the point of contact with the  client and the client’s project team.
    Interface with the Proposals manager to develop the bid document that addresses all aspects of the Client’s Request for Quote; ensure that all third party costs are accounted for and that the requisite number of manhours for all disciplines and activities are accounted for

    • On project award, accept initial project budget from the marketing department. Participate in setting up the start calculation and the work breakdown structure for the purpose of cost control in SAP. Monitor and maintain this budget through the course of the project.
    • Participate in the set up of the agreed baseline programme. Monitor progress against this baseline and conduct pro-active risk management where necessary to ensure that this schedule is maintained.
    • Manage project functions:
    • Project communication management, scheduling & reporting,
    • Vendor bids, cost control, invoicing,
    • Engineering interface management. 
    • Risk tracking of identified risks and registering of new risks.
    • Review and manage manpower utilisation to ensure that hours expended are within budget and correspond to the overall progress achieved.
    • Ensure through regular reviews that the quality of all work is in accordance with the project, statutory and Air Liquide specifications.
    • Co-ordinate the team of multi disciplinary engineers to ensure that the deliverables are produced on time and on budget. Monitor progress and set and maintain/measure deadlines. 
    • Review the critical purchase orders and sub contract documentation.
    • Monitor the procurement effort to ensure timely delivery on or under budget. 
    • Develop and manage all contracts required for execution of the project.
    • Oversee the appointment of and later with the Construction Manager manage the various construction subcontractors.
    • Ensure that Early warnings, Compensation events, Non Conformance Reports, Project management Instructions, Site Work Orders are correctly prepared and issued in accordance with contract (eg NEC) requirements and that these are submitted as per required procedure, to client(s), subcontractor(s) etc.
    • Ensure that safety on the construction site is of paramount importance.
    • Report internally and to the client on a regular basis with those key metrics that provide management and the client with a view of the progress of the project. These metrics must be such that deviations are identified early so that corrective actions can be put in place.
    • Interface management with client and the appointed EPC contractor.

    National Operations Manager - Bedfordview

    The VitalAire National Operations Manager will be responsible for the safe and reliable running of all Homecare operations in South Africa.     • Coordinate and facilitate a program of ‘continuous improvement’ through the implementation of effective KPIs and other projects and responsibilities as delegated by the Managing Director. 
    • Ensure that corporate policies as well as safety and service standards are maintained in all VitalAire operations and responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies within the area of responsibilities. 
    • Ensure effective inventory management and purchasing control systems are in place. 
    • Promote a safety culture within the company and with contractors ensuring that facilities are in compliance with applicable regulatory, subsidiary and group HSE requirements 
    • Manage the implementation and alignment of contractual, regulatory, and company policies, systems, processes and objectives and ensure that the field teams can effectively  deliver a high quality service to patients, thanks to the adequate service functions organised transversally, such as planification, asset management, training.
    • Operate in accordance with, and comply with, the AL Group’s Industrial Management system located under the Health, Safety, Environment and Industrial Management Systems section of the Bluebook.
