    Payroll Administrator

    Responsibilities:

    • End-to-end processing of company payroll of 600+ employees
    • Manage and conduct month-end and year-end statutory requirements
    • Reconciliation of payroll-related General Ledger accounts
    • Maintenance of payroll and leave administration systems
    • Delivery of ad hoc, mandatory, monthly, and annual HR Reports
    • Processing of new and temporary employees, transfers, promotions, terminations, and other payroll-related processing
    • Processing of monthly earnings/deductions
    • Maintaining and updating employee records on the payroll system and internal HR system
    • Administration and maintenance of employee benefits
    • Assists with projects as required
    • Escalate client/work issues to Supervisor/Manager
    • Liaising with staff and management on payroll and employee benefit-related queries
    • Monthly mandatory payroll reconciliation, journals, and payment of PAYE, UIF, and SDL and 3rd party payments
    • Advise staff on company policy and procedures where appropriate

    Requirements:

    • Diploma/Certificate
    • Minimum 5 years payroll experience
    • Experience working on Sage People

    Commercial Analyst

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain accurate ongoing records of controls applied to all systems
    • Chair weekly revenue meeting with CEO, reservations and sales teams
    • Prepare annual business outlook
    • Pro-active evaluation of availability controls, recommending necessary strategy changes
    • Complete and analyse the month end reports

    Senior Employee Benefits Specialist

    Responsibilities:

    • To deliver a professional and excellent quality of service to employers and members of retirement funds, in accordance with the service level agreements and annual strategic planning.
    • Excellent technical knowledge on both risk and retirement
    • To ensure an effective employee benefits environment and adhere to all FAIS requiremen
    • Independently manage and consult on client portfolio.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision makers at the participating Employer
    • Provision of appropriate advice, excellent client service and project management of Fund critical events to ensure the smooth running of the Fund.
    • Effective management of service providers and adherence to my client's standard operating procedures
    • Prepare and conduct member presentations Individual discussion with new members explaining benefits, when required.

    • Building key relationships with all service providers (i.e. administrators, insurers, etc.), and clients.
    • Legal Employee benefits industry and legislation knowledge are essential. Keep abreast with all changes.
    • Attend required internal and external forums and training courses.

    Compliance to Internal Processes:

    • Delivering of service and commitments to clients thus building and maintaining a trust relationship with clients.
    • Undergo all training required.
    • Adhere to general administration tasks, filing, updating the internal system, electronic storing of minutes, reports etc.

    Requirements:

    • Matric and NQF Level 6 and / or CFP qualifications.
    • 5 years’ experience in the Employee Benefits industry.
    • Strong computer skills (ie Microsoft Word, Excell, Powerpoint etc)

    Group Accountant

    Responsibilities: 

    • Produce consolidated balance sheets, income statements, cash flows, group and divisional management accounts 
    • Perform operational and financial analysis 
    • Prepare financial forecast and participate in annual business planning 
    • Manage group statutory audit 
    • Draft annual financial statements
    • Support the business with technical accounting and group consolidation management 

    Requirements:

    • CA(SA) with 1 to 3 years post-articles experience in practice or within commerce
    • Articles completed at a Big4 or Mid-Tier Firm
    • Exposure to group consolidations within the firm or within commerce is non-negotiable
    • Strong technical skills and proven ability to operate at an optimum level
    • Strong people skills, good levels of EQ and ability to perform under pressure 
    • Applicants must be available on short notice and willing to commit to a 12-month contract

    Financial Accountant

    Responsibilities:

    • Preparation of mid-month and month-end payment pack for review
    • Capturing of financial transactions for projects
    • Preparing receivables billing, review revenue and purchase orders for accuracy, classification and approval
    • Coordinating accounts payable process to ensure all invoices are logged, approved and paid on time
    • Preparing monthly management accounts
    • Prepare annual budget, reviews, approval
    • Coordinating local audit work for any local statutory audit requirements and audit review
    • Ensuring payroll & payroll taxes are filed timely and accurately where applicable
    • Ensuring all tax payments due are paid on time

    Requirements:

    • Degree in Accounting
    • 4 years’ experience in a accounting role
    • Understanding of IFRS, Budgeting, Forecasting and Financial Analysis
    • Experience in an asset intensive industry is highly advantageous

    Senior Cost & Management Accountant

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop, utilise and refine the cost accounting system
    • Consistently further the availability of meaningful information
    • Provide various reports and management information for the purpose of decision making 
    • Manage the costing processes and inputs at various stages
    • Direct and guide managers/executives in the effective analysis and management of costs

    Requirements:

    • Ideally completed or studying towards CIMA qualification, qualified to minimum of a degree in management accounting or similar
    • 3 - 6 years management and cost accounting experience

    Stock Control Analyst

    Responsibilities:

    • Reports to Financial Manager
    • Monitor maintenance and installation teams to ensure that all stock/asset movements are recorded
    • Manage international and local shipments as well as compiling shipping documents
    • Manage stock control function from source materials to production and finished product 

    Requirements:

    • Tertiary studies in accounting would be advantageous
    • More than 5 years' experience in a similar role 
    • Manufacturing industry background essential
    • Candidates must be willing and able to work in the Southern Suburbs
