    Receptionist (Maternity Cover) - Head Office

    Description

    • An opportunity has become available at our Head Office in Cape Town for a dynamic, well-spoken and self-driven Receptionist who is passionate about providing awesome customer experiences. The duration of the contract will be approximately 6 months for the purposes of maternity cover.
    • Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated and enthusiastic about performance and will have the high energy levels required for this fast-paced, exciting and dynamic retail environment.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Reception and switchboard duties including but not limited to:

    • Meet and greet clients and team members in a professional manner
    • Promptly answer telephone calls and redirect as appropriate
    • Accurately record and relay messages as required
    • Monitor the reception and client areas to ensure that they are kept tidy
    • Assist with ensuring that guests receive refreshments
    • Ensure the reception area is attended to at all times
    • Ensure guests are directed to the correct meeting rooms

    Administration duties such as:

    • Book and coordinate meeting room bookings
    • Arrange courier deliveries on request and maintain appropriate records
    • Ensure prompt collection of packages and deliveries from Reception
    • Provide general assistance to team leader and team members

    Requirements   

    Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications Required

    • Minimum 2 years prior experience in a receptionist or similar role
    • Previous experience in a clothing retail environment is advantageous
    • Matric (essential) with a relevant administration qualification (advantageous)
    • A valid driver’s license is advantageous
    • Microsoft Office proficiency – Intermediate level is preferable
    • Proficiency in English

    Fashion Marketing Assistant - Head Office

    Description

    • Our Marketing department is in search of a Marketing Assistant to join the Marketing Team. The incumbent will be responsible for the monthly processing and tracking of invoices across the Fashion Department; and supporting the marketing manager, Brand & PR coordinators on prescribed campaigns, projects, activities and tasks.

    You will be responsible for:

    • Monthly processing, tracking, and reporting of all invoices to Finance for the Fashion team.
    • Assisting the marketing manager and coordinator/s with executing brand and loyalty campaign briefs and managing timelines to deliver upon deadline.
    • Assisting the marketing manager and coordinators with coordinating campaigns and manage critical timelines by liaising with partners and key internal stakeholders as required.
    • Assisting the marketing manager and coordinator with stock requirements (e.g.: stock sourcing for events and campaign shoots)
    • Working with the coordinators to ensure all dates is booked into the diary for upcoming campaigns (product handover, styling session etc.)
    • Working with the coordinators and buying team to coordinate product required for campaign shoots and events.
    • Stock management through ensuring departmental stock is returned to store timeously post shoot / event.

    Requirements

    • Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent
    • Relevant Marketing tertiary education is preferable.
    • Computer literacy and programs (MS suite is a must; Sage and Oracle experience is optional)

    IT Infrastructure Manager - Head Office

    Description

    • An opportunity has become available for an IT Infrastructure Manager within our Information Technology Department.
    • We are looking for a professional, ethical and influential team player who will add value to the IT function by being responsible for the planning, organising and management of infrastructure activities to ensure the stable operation of Cape Union Mart Group IT Infrastructure.
    • This position is based at our Head Office in Cape Town and is an exciting and challenging opportunity that will require the successful candidate to partner with and empower stakeholders to achieve departmental and company objectives.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    •  Design and implement plans to ensure infrastructure capacity meets existing and future requirements
    •  Project management
    •  Develop, implement as well as maintain policies and procedures for infrastructure administration and associated infrastructure projects
    •  Build a future proof Infrastructure Architecture that supports the IT Application’s
    •  Participate in the development of IT strategies in collaboration with the leadership team

    • We are seeking a highly skilled technical team lead to join our IT department and oversee the development and maintenance of our omni-channel systems. The Technical Team Lead for Omni-Channel Systems will be responsible for leading a team of technical professionals in the design, development, and maintenance of our company's omni-channel systems.
