    About the role:

    • This team drives Capitec’s digital banking capabilities for business clients, focusing on app and online banking solutions within the business bank stack an architecture like the retail bank stack but tailored for business needs. The role centers on back-end development, where engineers build and maintain robust, scalable systems that power digital panels and ensure seamless client experiences.     Purpose Statement
    To contribute towards minimising bad debt, enhancing profit and mitigating and controlling risk for Capitec Business Bank (CBB) and Capitec Rental Finance (CRF) through:

    The purpose of this role is to enhance the financial performance of Capitec Insurance through:

    • Participating in periodic (monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and annual) insurance contract liability and profit calculations on an IFRS 17 (International Financial Reporting Standards) basis.
    • Participating in the forecasted IFRS 17 profit calculations for the annual budget and monthly re-forecasting.
