    Software Developer

    Duties include, but not limited to:

    • Develop innovative software using the latest development tools and frameworks.
    • Maintain current systems (web/other) and develop new systems (web/other) using the latest technologies.
    • Collaborate with Architects, Product Owners in developing, testing, and deploying systems components.
    • Work with the architects to research and develop systems using new technologies.
    • Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments.
    • Provide second/third line support to supporting services within the technology eco system.

    Essential Criteria:

    • A minimum of 2 – 4 year’s hands-on development experience.
    • Computer Science related degree, diploma, or similar qualification.

    • 1+ years of Real-time Data pipelines/Streaming in distributed environment.
    • Familiarity with all facets of SDLC - ranging from inception to deployment.

    Desirable Criteria:

    • Having good hands-on coding skills with C# and applying design patterns.
    • Hands-on experience in messaging products like Kafka.
    • Experience with Confluent Kafka components (Connect, Schema Registry, KsqlDB).
    • Familiarity with technologies such as .Net core, XML, Rest APIs, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, Stored Procedures, Visual Studio.
    • Experience in versioning tools (git).
    • Experience in developing micro-services on any platform and creation of REST endpoints.
    • Load testing, performance analysis, and chaos engineering of distributed systems.
    • Exposure to container deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Familiarity with all facets of SDLC - ranging from inception to deployment.
    • Real-time dashboards (Grafana, Kibana. Elastic etc)
    • Experience designing database applications using MongoDB.

    Graphic Designer

    Purpose of the Role:

    • Reporting to the Design Lead | Betway Division, we’re looking for a designer to create beautiful, pixel-perfect designs, as well as produce best-of-breed web, mobile and system designs for our digital properties.
    • You must be hands on, responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within a fast paced, open and collaborative peer environment.

    Duties include, but not limited to:

    • Creative designs for promotions and campaigns
    • Web & Email Templates: headers, buttons, backgrounds, iconography, typography
    • Developing creative content from scratch. Working within client briefs and with supplied assets
    • UX/UI: experience in user-experience and interaction design
    • Conceptualizing new designs and user interactions that are both functional and user-friendly
    • Facilitating continues product improvement by constantly looking for opportunities to improve UX through design
    • Comfortable with doing general design work from time to time, not necessarily related to their specific Team
    • Manage your own time and resources and ensure the highest level of productivity and quality is achieved

    Product Owner

    Purpose of the Role:

    • Reporting into the Product Manager, the Product Owner will be the key stakeholder representing Users and Business in working together with our Technology Teams to deliver high quality software products. The Product Owner will be responsible for validating product ideas with reviews of plans and work-in-progress with Customers, Architects and Product Teams. Our dynamic environment is fast paced, using Agile and self-organizing principles in order for our teams to deliver the highest quality products.

    Duties will include, but not limited to:

    • Work with Stakeholders to help develop the product strategy and business cases.
    • Define and clearly communicate a prioritised roadmap plan that implements the strategy, including measurable improvements.
    • Understand high level Epic requirements and decompose these into smaller packages of work for implementation within Scrum Team.
    • Build and maintain excellent Stakeholder relationships.
    • Actively seek input from internal and external Stakeholders and complete competitor analysis to keep abreast of industry and best practice.
    • Work with the Business Stakeholders to produce detailed user journeys, acceptance criteria and designs ready for implementation.
    • Assist with product /system/process documentation to support Users and Business continuity.
    • Work with the scrum Team and Product Manager to deliver key milestones, including managing and prioritising the story backlog to ensure the work items delivered meet expectations.
    • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on strategy, successes, learning and progress on product vision.
    • Overall owner of the product backlog, keeping the Business and Tech Teams informed of work delivered.
    • Understand the strategic and competitive position of the product, carry out competitive analysis and deliver value adding increments.
