    A privately-owned property rental company that leverages technology to provide commercial accommodation and is a company that purchases and renovates buildings within the CBD of cities and converts them into apartments. These furnished apartments are available for rent monthly to the public. The organization has proven that their business model of providing affordable accommodation to people who want to work and play in the city works. The company has been working on developing the correct tech to support their business operations and their tech savvy market.

    To assume full accountabilities for all financial aspects of the business, including financial/statutory reporting, strategic and tactical decisions affecting and impacting business finance fundamentals, working capital management, corporate activity relating to mergers/acquisitions and greenfield projects, forecasting, tax and legal compliances and budget management across all areas of the business.

    Requirements:

    • B Com Honours in Accounting CA(SA)
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience post articles
    • Experience in strategic planning and execution
    • Skill in examining and re-reengineering operations and procedures
    • Experience in formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures
    • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
    • Ability to develop and deliver presentations
    • Ability to identify and secure funding/revenue sources
    • Ability to communicate and interact at all levels
    • Work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
    • Ability to motivate teams and simultaneously manage several projects
    • Ability to develop financial plans and manage resources

    Description

    • We are looking for a highly skilled React Native Developer to collaborate with a team of back-end developers and UX designers. You will be responsible for maintaining our React-Native mobile apps as well as our ReactJS web application with a focus on front-end development. The ideal candidate is an advanced React Native Developer who can build dynamic, high performing, and responsive UIs for our applications.


    Roles

    • Work as part of a team to build React Native iOS / Android applications for the business.
    • Architect, build and maintain excellent React Native applications with clean code.
    • Implement pixel perfect UI's that match designs.

    • Currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant post to be based in Pinetown, Durban, KZN. The Financial Accountant will support the financial decision-making information by collecting, analyzing, investigating and reporting financial data.

     
    Educational Requirements:

    • Recently qualified CA(SA)
    • Completed articles
    • 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role
    • Consolidation experience
    • Advanced excel knowledge
    • Inventory knowledge

     
    Duties and Responsibilities of the Financial Accountant:

    • Monthly processing of reconciliations, journal processing and reporting on management accounts

    Management accounts

    • Financial statements
    • Budgeting, monitoring, and control
    • Creditors, cashbook
    • Prepare and process monthly revenue and debtors
    • Prepare monthly salaries and wages entries
    • Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement reconciliations
    • Complete fixed asset transactions and review fixed asset register
    • Complete all inventory transactions including annual stock counts etc
    • Perform info for year-end audit purposes and prepare financials annually
    • Prepare budgets and forecasts
    • Oversee bookkeeping function
    • Fixed asset and inventory processing
    • To ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the various staff members and processes within the finance department
    • Provide staff supervision and training
    • Preparation and processing of monthly journal entries and management accounts
    • Assisting with the preparation of the group consolidation
    • Preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations
    • Maintenance and reviewing of the fixed asset register
    • Enforcing and implementing of policies and procedures
