    Software Solutions Consultant

    Job Description

    • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Solutions Consultant to join our dynamic Advanced Technology team.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

    • Growing revenue stream across medium to large enterprise accounts with a strong focus on building annuity-based revenue.
    • Generate new leads through planning, events, and demos as well as present personal ideas around campaigns to discover new opportunities.
    • Work with the sales teams to unlock opportunities in their current customer base and consult to these customers around best of breed licensing and product solutions.
    • Upselling into existing customer base by recommending new solutions and technologies to sales team and customers
    • Ensure that the sales team receive support as they request.
    • Develop a thorough understanding of solutions and relevant business pains, and become proficient conducting high-level demos.
    • Provision of licensing solutions over multiple platforms including Microsoft, Adobe etc.
    • Assistance with driving initiatives i.e. Microsoft funding programs, O365, Azure, Mobility etc.
    • Ensuring timeous renewals and managing annual revenue targets
    • Identify software revenue opportunities across the customer landscape to ensure a diversified approach beyond Microsoft offerings
    • Responsible for staying abreast of product roadmap as well as understanding the scenarios, features and functions within each of the products and how these are applied to address business and technical problems.
    • Manage relationships with software vendors, including renewals, audits, and negotiations.
    • Ensure the organization complies with software licensing agreements to avoid legal and financial risks.
    • Analyze usage data to optimize software spend, eliminate waste, and improve ROI
    • Develop and enforce policies for software usage, deployment, and retirement
    • Updates job knowledge by participating in any educational opportunities. Uncover, engage and close cloud opportunities across all customer verticals for Azure, Dynamics and Modern Workplace solutions
    • Contributing to alleviating any additional work as required from the software team

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience  as a Software Consultant /SAM
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology Diploma (Beneficial)
    • High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Fluent and confident public speaking and presentation skills.

    IT Infrastructure Project Manager (Intermediate)

    Role Purpose

    • The IT Infrastructure Project Manager is accountable for end‑to‑end delivery of all IT infrastructure projects (networking, AV, access control, printing, voice, servers, hybrid cloud). This includes, but is not limited to, project planning, budget and vendor management, governance and change control, stakeholder engagement across all customers divisions and countries, and seamless hand‑over into ongoing SLA‑driven operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan, execute, and deliver IT infrastructure projects from initiation to closure.
    • Engage with clients, AIT, Schools & Tertiary to define business requirements.
    • Work with AIT, IT leads and SDMs to translate the business requirements into IT Infrastructure requirements and define the IT design and BOM
    • Engage with vendors to provide quotes as per the defined BOM, review quotes for accuracy and submit to finance for Capex approval and PO to issued.
    • Manages project budget in terms of approval of budget, controlling projects costs and vendor performance.
    • Engage with AIT infrastructure leads for allocation of internal IT resources for each project.
    • For new campus sites, expansions and relocations, engage with site construction teams to provide IT dependencies and coordinate timelines for implementation.
    • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for delivery of IT equipment.
    • Coordinate internal IT resources, SDMs and third parties/vendors (including Rest of Africa) for implementation of IT infrastructure and equipment.
    • Liaise with in‑country ICT resources and/or local partner coordinators for the rest of Africa.
    • Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues to resolution.
    • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
    • Adheres to formal AIT change control and project governance as defined by the central PMO.
    • Ensure adherence to AIT governance and compliance standards.
    • Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
    • Coordinate with AIT infrastructure leads, internal IT resources and SDM for operational handover to client, including but operational readiness, handover documentation, training and SLA integration
    • Ensure all outstanding issues are addressed
    • Conduct post-project reviews and ensure documentation is complete.

    Required Skills and Experience

    • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) managing IT infrastructure projects.
    • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure domains such as networking, servers, IT security, Office 365, voice, data cabling, audio visual etc..
    • Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project,).
    • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
    • Strong leadership, decision‑making, conflict resolution and continuous improvement capabilities.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Experience working in structured project environments (Agile, PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent).
    • Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.

    Education & Certifications

    • Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) – preferred.
    • ITIL certification – advantageous.
