Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan and execute risk-based internal audits;
• Provide consulting services to clients;
• Draft audit reports and present final findings to the client;
• Provide on the job coaching to internal auditors and trainees;
• Supervision of internal audit teams on multiple audits;
• Apply internal audit specific policies, procedures, methodologies and standards;
• Manage the delivery of each assignment in line with scope and limitations;
• Support the business in championing strategic business roles; and
• Build and maintain client relationships.

Minimum Requirements

• CA (SA)/CIA advantageous;
• Membership with IIA;
• At least BCom degree with relevant internal audit qualification;
• 4 years’ experience in a consulting role in governance, risk, and compliance, of which 2 years’ must be in a senior auditor role;
• A thorough knowledge of IIA standards and best practices;
• Strong project management and multi-tasking skills;
• Proven ability to manage clients, teams and other relevant stakeholders;
• Knowledge of internal audit software tools and methodologies;
• Good client relations and networking skills;
• Willingness to travel when necessary; and
• Valid drivers’ licence and own transport.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Process withdrawal instructions and arrange for authorisations
• Ensure clients are FICA compliant
• Open new accounts on Nedbank & Investec platform
• Receive deposits
• Liaison with clients, staff and partners
• Liaison with bank staff
• Resolve queries with various parties
• Monitor system and balance interest daily
• Perform daily reconciliations
• Attend to banking details
• Assist with ad hoc duties in the Money Market department.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 qualification
• At least 2 - 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Computer literate (MS Word, Outlook and Excel)
• Be able to operate under pressure and meet daily deadlines
• Quality and detail orientated
• Knowledge of banking procedures
• Strong administration skills
• Strong people and communication skills
• Be able to deal with and resolve problems
• Client focused
• Previous Bank Teller experience will be advantageous
• Administrative qualification will be advantageous
