    Junior AML Manager X1

    Job Description

    • Hollywoodbets has exciting opportunities available for X1 Junior AML Manager to be based at Umhlanga, Durban. This position will form part of the AML/Compliance function providing specialist support to the AML team in terms of applicable legislation, primarily but not limited to the FIC Act, and to perform monitoring activities towards providing independent, objective, reliable and timely assurance over the effectiveness of the AML/compliance controls implemented in the business.

     

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Completed degree/bachelor’s degree, majoring in law/Legal/Audit.
    • Sound and in-depth understanding of the FICA, ML/TF Control regulations and FIC guidance notes.
    • Computer literate.
    • 3 - 4 years legal/audit experience.

    Advantageous:

    • 2-3 administrative experience.
    • Valid driver’s license.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Financial Metrics/Operational Duties:

    AML/FICA Compliance

    • Work closely with the Group FICA Compliance Manager and provide contribution into the embedment of the Risk Management and Compliance Program requirements in the business and help with FICA related queries from internal staff.
    • Establish and enhance the processes in support of the Risk Management and Compliance Program (“RMCP”).
    • Contribute to the implementation of new and updated regulatory requirements.
    • Perform enhanced due diligence reviews and reporting.
    • Input into entity due diligence questionnaires: Complete AML questionnaires in relation to external parties.
    • Provide input into technology development for enhanced compliance, and compliance controls.
    • Contribute to the review and update of applicable policies and the RMCP.
    • Provide input into FICA-related projects.
    • Prepare and deliver relevant training.
    • STR and SAR reporting preparation and submission.
    • Ability to identify and escalate sensitive issues with discretion
    • Manage team performance in achievement of business objectives
    • Assist with preparation and relevant submissions for regulatory inspections and on-site reviews.
    • Monthly and quarterly reporting.
       

    Reviewing and Reporting

    • Perform ongoing monitoring reviews across the Group’s entities (accountable institutions).
    • Work with business units to agree on findings, ratings and remedial action required.
    • Produce finalized reports for all monitoring reviews conducted and ensure that all monitoring reports are appropriate and include supporting evidence and/or documents;
    • Follow up on recommended corrective actions, any outstanding monitoring issues and management actions.
    • Perform assurance reviews for findings where actions closure has been confirmed;
    • Prepare follow-up progress reports;
    • Ensure that all reports are saved appropriately.

    Legal

    • Provide legal opinions for AML related matters.
    • Assist with drafting, reviewing and maintaining policies and procedures.
    • Coordinate the revision and updates of policies.
    • Ensure that all processes, activities related to legislations are executed and compiled with.
    • Maintain a record of the status of all policies.

    • Produce high quality, neat, logical, succinct, easy to follow, easy to understand, formula linked work/templates/workbooks/financial models/recons/audits - of which is substantiated by facts with no numbers in the formulas.
    • Ensure the above (final version) and other documents are chronologically saved/backed up.
    • Summarize the detailed daily findings on the designated software or relevant workbook and submit a daily report to the Senior and Group Internal Audit Manager.
    • Effectively deal with internal, external, SARS, BEE, and any other auditor/regulatory/oversight body in the normal course of business.
    • Report suspicious behavior and fraud findings immediately.
    • Promote declaration of all gifts.
    • Promote non acceptance of kickbacks. Instances to be reported immediately.
    • Promote declaration all conflicts of interest upfront.
    • Promote a culture of confidentiality within the business with regards to the protection of personal information.

    Customer Service Consultants

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure that FICA documents are sent daily to the FICA Ensure that a picture is submitted.
    • Ensure new customer uses the free voucher to bet when account is opened. Show the customer how to bet on mobile
    • Keep work areas neat and tidy to promote a positive image to
    • Ensure that cash ups are done in accordance with cash up Responsible to ensure that there are no shortages. Report all shortages to management.
    • Print out vouchers as verification of clock in times and submit to Store Manager for sign
    • Ensure appropriate management/safekeeping and maintenance of the mobile equipment or inventory received.
    • Might be required to rove between branches and stores as per operational needs.

    Job Description

    • Hollywoodbets has an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader (Mobile) within Kroonstad  , Free State . This role is to support the operations of the Mobile department, on projects directed at maximizing Company profits, increasing customer base through marketing campaigns.


    Minimum requirements:

     

    • Minimum of 1-year sales/marketing/promotional experience.
    • Held a valid driver’s license.
    • Willingness to do shift and weekend work.

    Advantageous:

    • Relevant Diploma/Degree.
    • Have a minimum of 1-year driving experience.

    Responsibilities:

    • Work closely with Area Managers to meet promotional needs.
    • Facilitating promotional activities and drive FICA compliance.
    • Develop and launch new promotions to Mobile Clerks at branches, outlets and in the field.
    • Jointly plan marketing campaigns with Area Managers.
    • Measure effectiveness of promotions.
    • Provide ongoing training to Mobile Clerks.
    • Identify interest and understand customer needs and requirements.
    • Manage staffing and performance of Mobile Clerk.
    • Growth, branding and roll out of distributor outlets.
    • Ensure new Mobile team members have been trained to understand betting types, betting processes, mobile betting and TUV. Coordinate training.
    • Visiting outlets as per call cycle.
    • Daily, weekly and monthly reporting.
    • Provide day to day operational support to Area Managers.
    • Any other related duties that might be required.
