• As HR Manager for our JIT & Sewing Plant,you will manage the employee relations to minimize legal exposure while creating a fair and equitable working environment. Moreover, you will act as strategical and tactical business partner to the Plant Leadership Team.

What will be your task?

• Be a strategic business partner in implementing working employees’ relationships within the plant and throughout all the organization
• Identify areas to develop with central HR and business in order to contribute directly with plant’s productivity and effectiveness
• Employment Equity Compliance - Drive and support diversity within the team by supporting Grow across Country & other D+I Initiatives and achieve country diversity goals in the Employment Equity Plan.
• Represent the company when negotiating with the workers’ Representatives
• Create and facilitate communication and employee involvement initiatives
• Communicate the Lear Leadership Model throughout the plant reinforcing ethics, values and quality policies throughout his area of responsibility
• Proactively implements company policies promoting a safe working environment and being an active member in accident prevention
• Continuing to build our Employer of Choice brand in the region
• Support L&OD Team in rolling out projects and meeting objectives

What is our needs?

• At least 10 years of HR experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role
• Ideally experience of working in a fast-paced production environment, preferably in the automotive industry
• Good working knowledge in payroll and labor law

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

• IT Support for East London production JIT applications, systems and services based at the East London production facility.  Previous manufacturing/JIT/automotive experience preferred but not essential.

Key responsibilities would include:

• Complete online daily checklist activities.
• Providing 1st/2nd line technical support & problem analysis/rectification.
• Ensure documentation and procedures are maintained and improved in accordance with ISMS and Sarbanes Oxley requirements.
• Ensuring pro-active monitoring of systems using key performance indicators and dashboards.
• Ensuring performance and availability of all computer systems including hardware, networks, IT security and telecommunications are maintained within the agreed SLAs.
• Monitor Ivanti call logging system and resolve production tickets within agreed SLA.
• Maintain Computer systems to current corporate standards Windows 10 / Server 2019.
• Scorecard compliance activities including system patching, antivirus and CM.
• Purchasing for all IT operations service requirements.
• Configuring all onsite hardware including desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, thin clients, industrial PCs.
• Deploying hardware into production environment to agreed schedules within maintenance windows.
• Processing New user equipment requests / processing Leaver data and equipment requests.
• Monitoring customer sequences messages.
• Providing support on production systems LPS and LJS
• Maintenance and upkeep of networking infrastructure, ensuring stability of LAN/WAN by proactive monitoring and resolving issues, to include Cisco switch configuration, fault finding and hardware upgrades.
• Monitoring Avamar Backup processes.
• Virtual Server monitoring and preventative maintenance to ensure 100% uptime.
• Ensuring all corporate requirements are delivered satisfactorily and on time.
• Disaster recovery corporate compliance and failover testing practices.
• Software license, inventory and hardware maintenance management.
• General administration and housekeeping of hot swap equipment and materials in IT Storage 

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• National Diploma or Degree in Information Systems and / or MCSE

RELATED EXPERIENCE

• At least 5 years work experience in IT System Support Environment.
• At least 3 years work experience in manufacturing/automotive support environment preferred.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Hardware - HP Servers and SAN/EMC storage solutions.
• Windows Server 2016/2019 | MS SQL Server 2012/2016 | Windows 7/10 | Microsoft Office 365.
• Cisco certification advantageous.
• VMware vSphere knowledge advantageous.
• Working knowledge of IT technologies and best practices essential.
• Experienced IT professional with proven ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced JIT environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
