Purpose of the job:

Manage allocated load and/or vehicle on assigned route to ensure products are delivered without incurring any damages.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare vehicle for trip and operate heavy-duty vehicle
• Handle required documentation and perform ancillary duties.
• Follow all other reasonable instructions from the Manager
• Adhere to all applicable SOP’s and safety procedures
• Follow the reporting procedure of emergencies and defects/ breakdowns
• Housekeeping of vehicle
• Adhere to AARTO rules at all times

Job Description    

To maintain the overall effectiveness of equipment and the plants on site which includes Electrical and Mechanical support.

Key Responsibilities

• To anticipate possible machine reliability problems, which could appear and take appropriate actions.
• To facilitate and lead problem solving processes for continuous improvement.
• To record and analyse breakdown trends per machine using a maintenance system in order to motivate equipment improvement or purchases.
• To render support on ad hoc projects in order to optimize process flow.
• To ensure compliance with relevant Food Safety, Health Safety and GMP Requirements through the maintenance of process and document controls according to SOP’s.
• To provide on job coaching for Handyman and Apprentices/Students.
• To train and coach Technical Operators regarding SOP’s and work instructions to ensure best operating practices.

Qualification Requirements    

• N3 Qualification in Relevant field
• Trade Test Certificate (Red Seal)

Experience Requirements    

• 5-7 years’ experience in relevant trade.
• 5 years’ experience in a FMCG environment
• Experience with High-Speed Continuous Operations
• Experience on Flour Milling equipment will be an advantage.

Other Requirements

• Pressurized factory environment
• 5 Day position and will be required to work weekends and Public Holidays when necessary.
• Required to work overtime (after hours) and standby.
• Working with and on heavy equipment and plants.

Job Description    

Provide effective office administrative and support function to the designated managers and teams in order to ensure the smooth running of the office, including travel arrangements, organization of staff functions. To remain professional in dealings with customers and employees. To accurately and timeously file all credit notes, POD’s, invoices and related documentation.

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Computer literacy

• 2-6 Years’ experience in a high volume, filing environment.
• 2-6 Years’ office administration (Creditors & Debtors experience advantageous)
