    Financial Reporting Analyst

    • The Financial Reporting Analyst will be responsible to deliver accurate and insightful financial reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS and statutory requirements while supporting management with analysis, forecasting and decision-making across a complex, manufacturing-focused business.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead and manage reporting timelines – for internal and group purposes.
    • Develop and enhance key reports, dashboards used by management.
    • Develop automated reporting processes to increase efficiency and reduce the need for manual work.
    • Ensure data is accurate and consistent across reporting by establishing and enforcing clear data quality standards.
    • Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, IFRS and Group Accounting Manual.
    • Consolidate information for South African entities into group-level management reports.
    • Strengthen analysis of information, providing meaningful insights into performance and deviation analysis for management including areas for improvement.
    • Investigate and explain abnormal expenditures during month-end close.
    • Review month end journals for accuracy and completeness.
    • Liaise with various departments to ensure accurate recording of transactions at month end.
    • Calculate cost of sales at standard rates, conduct GP% reality checks, and compile Other Operating Income statements
    • Perform scenario analysis as needed to support strategic decisions.

    WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

    • BTech/Bcom degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent qualification.
    • SAIPA Professional Accountant (SA) qualification in good standing.
    • At least 5 years’ experience in the manufacturing environment.
    • Additional training or experience that will be advantageous:
    • Manufacturing industry experience.
    • Experience in data analysis tools such as power BI / SQL/ Alteryx.
    • Advance SAP S/4HANA knowledge—experience in leveraging SAP for reporting and reconciliation.

    Skills and competencies

    • Strong understanding of IFRS, including application and practical updates.
    • Highly proficient in MS Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, modelling) and MS Word; excellent MS Office skills more broadly.
    • Strong analytical thinking, with an aptitude for interpreting financial results, identifying trends, and offering actionable insights.
    • Experience working with ERP systems and a track record of automating and streamlining reporting processes.
    • Proactive and detail-oriented; capable of working independently under tight deadlines while resolving complex financial issues.
    • Excellent stakeholder collaboration skills—able to liaise across finance, compliance, strategy, IT and operational teams.

    Maintenance Engineer

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

    • The Maintenance Engineer in responsible to plan and maintain manufacturing equipment according OHS Act regulations, RCM and according to manufacturer’s specifications. Minimize down time and make sure production is not affected by either planned or unplanned maintenance. The Maintenance Engineer performs routine equipment maintenance, trouble shoot issues and effects the necessary improvements to the maintenance system as required.  

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Coordinate the integration of the operational plans with engineering systems to ensure maximum plant availability according to organisational objectives.
    • Provide technical support to the plants on engineering related matters to minimize downtime and possible engineering risks.
    • Develop short, medium and long-term maintenance plans to meet business objectives.
    • Analyse and interpret maintenance trends and variances, and initiate change.
    • Ensure compliance to legislative requirements, engineering standards and specifications.
    • Coordinate the preparation of all maintenance related project technical documents to ensure that the technical content and cost are within the scope of work.
    • Monitor frequency and modes of equipment failures, breakdowns, accidents and overtime to drive root cause analysis suggests changes to processes and equipment to prevent reoccurrences.
    • Participate in the maintenance budgeting process annually.
    • Prepare weekly and monthly maintenance reports using systemic and qualitative data.
    • Provide on-the-job coaching to the technicians and artisans in the team and develop their ability to perform predictive maintenance and problem solving.

    WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • BEng/BSc or BTech in Mechanical Engineering.
    • Government Certificate Competency (GCC Factories) and/or registration as PR Eng/PR-Tech Eng. would be advantageous.
    • At least 5 years of experience in plant maintenance of which 3 years should have been in a supervisory/management role.
    • Experience in Project Management would be advantageous.
    • Knowledge of hazardous chemicals, in particular explosives, is preferred
    • Sound knowledge of OHS Act and Legal Liability, including ISO 55000, 45001, 14001 and 9001 standards are important.
    • Financial management skills would be advantageous.
    • Computer literacy is essential, i.e. design and data analysis, system modelling (utilizing Excel, Matlab, Python or similar tools)

    Maintenance Planner

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

    • Providing a total engineering maintenance planning service for the safe and efficient operations of plant and equipment. Implement and maintain the maintenance module in SAP by keeping the equipment register up to date, issue Scheduled Maintenance tasks for preventative maintenance, Statutory Tasks and Register Inspections.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Required to be able to lead maintenance planning of equipment’s mechanically and electrically
    • Assisting with general administrative tasks in workshops
    • Assisting with ordering and follow up of spares
    • Prepare shutdown planning with Maintenance Supervisor’s and arrange resources
    • Lead the Root cause analysis
    • Run daily, weekly and monthly reports (MTBF, MTTR, Cost per equipment & Resources Utilization)
    • Maintaining the SAP maintenance system
    • Updating the equipment register and plant spares information
    • Control and updating Statutory and Register inspection files
    • Capturing of data from completed job cards
    • Monitoring and follow up outstanding and overdue projects
    • Printing and issuing unscheduled / scheduled job cards
    • Make job cards complete on system
    • General admin checking outstanding job cards against system information
    • Time capturing from job cards / time sheets of artisans in to SAP
    • Maintain/Implement the maintenance critical stores
    • Update all legal compliance on SAP
    • Ensure all legal registers are updated
    • Weekly planning of preventative maintenance and inspections
    • Adheres and implements Rheinmetall Denel Munitions Policies and Procedures and ensures compliance to ISO Standards with respect to SHE/Quality/Environmental/Energy.

    WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
    POST REQUIREMENTS:

    • National Diploma in Mechanical /Electrical Engineering or NQF 6 Qualification.
    • At least 5 years’ applicable experience as a Maintenance Planner
    • At least 5 years’ experience using SAP maintenance module
    • Good mechanical and electrical components insight
    • Willingness to work overtime and Weekends
    • Ability to work well in a team, and lead a team of planning
    • Extensive Experience in Maintenance Planning essential
    • Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 systems will be an advantage
    • Good communicator and build relations with peers, subordinates, customers and suppliers
    • Good problem-solving skills, and customer liaison skills
    • Must be able to work with minimum supervision

    Supervisor III

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

    • The Supervisor III will be responsible for the supervision of the production of NC on a daily basis, execution of production plan, ensure adherence to the OHS Act, NEMA, basic conditions of employment act, explosives regulations, all company procedures, etc.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Execution of production plan as per MPS.
    • Ensure that all relevant Safety, Health, Environment, Quality and Explosive regulatory requirements/ systems or standards are adhered to.
    • Manage all process and equipment changes via the applicable modifications procedures.
    • Accountable for the Facility Operating Instructions for all facilities and also for the training of all employees.
    • Accountable for ensuring that manufacturing of products occur as per the Product Manufacturing Instructions and the Quality Control Plan.
    • Accountable in ensuring that all employees are trained on the relevant safety, quality and operational documentation pertaining to their jobs. For example; (including but not limited to; FOIs, PMIs, Control Plans, HIRAs, permits, etc).
    • Responsible for driving continuous improvement within their facilities.
    • Utilising the company’s ERP/MES/Systems to monitor, record & control plant performance.
    • Responsible for the issue of safe work permits, job cards, exit permits, etc.
    • Responsible for filing and record keeping of all quality, SHE documentation, i.e. COA’s, appointment letters, etc.
    • Responsible for the budgets under his/her control.
    • Adheres and implements Rheinmetall Denel Munitions Policies and Procedures and ensures compliance to ISO Standards with respect to SHE/Quality/Environmental/Energy.

    WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

    POST REQUIREMENTS:

    • National Diploma in Engineering/ Science or NQF 6 equivalent qualification.
    • At least 5 years’ experience in high-volume manufacturing environment of which 2 years should have been in a supervisory role.
    • Must be able to work in a team and lead from the front.
    • Must be computer literate, MS Office, ERP and MES systems.
    • Must be able to work shifts and overtime on short notice.
    • Must be able to work ROTA shift when production plan requires

    Electrician

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Maintain all infrastructure and services as per job card for maximum availability
    • Perform planned maintenance
    • Perform breakdown maintenance and fault findings
    • Ensure completion of job cards within estimated time frame
    • Only work under general clearance certificates as per M86 and sign off task when completed
    • Apply lock out procedure without exception
    • Analyse drawings and plan material accordingly
    • Plan correct procedure for specific work

    • Maintain good housekeeping standards in the workshop and when performing tasks on the plant.

    • Adhere to all applicable legislation within RDM

    WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

    • N3 qualification in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
    • Trade Test in Electrical Engineering.
    • At least 3 years’ experience as a qualified Electrician.
    • Knowledge of electrical installations requirements and regulations in explosive environments.
    • Knowledge of PLC programming will be an advantage.
    • The ability to read and understand technical drawings.
    • Computer Literate and able to operate the Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
    • Experience with an ERP system like SAP will be an advantage.
    • A Valid Code 8 Driver's License
