    Administrator (3 Months Contract)

    Job Requirements:

     

    • 2-5 years’ experience in an administration or business planning environment 
    • Degree or Diploma in a relevant field (e.g., business management, economics, etc.)
    • Desired - 2-3 years in a strategy or business planning role

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Key Performance Areas: 

    • Assists with developing strategic planning framework for the organization’s Business Planning activities.
    • Following direction from the Business Planning Coordinator, conducts research on new technologies and industry trends and identify strategy planning and performance management processes for the company.
    • Keeps abreast of changes in the strategic management and performance management disciplines and provide specialist advice to the company.
    • Supports the implementation of a high-performance organizational culture. 
    • Educates EXCO and management on latest developments in strategic planning methodologies and process.
    • Coordinates strategic planning communication sessions with staff to ensure shared vision within company fees for admission and other services. 
    • Assists with organizing department sessions to develop departmental and unit business plans. 
    • Assists with ensuring the interpretation and correct cascading of targets down to all levels in the company and the overall alignment of performance standards.

    • Assists with the development of the company scorecard, including writing, administration, and other activities.
    • Assists the Business Planning Coordinator with quarterly and annual performance review at departmental business plans.

    • Assists with writing and developing policies, processes, procedures, and controls to gather information.

    • Writes and compiles required reports. 
    • Maintains secured (manuals and electronic) filing system for all relevant documentation.

    • A bookkeeping/accounting qualification will be of advantage or studying towards an accounting qualification.

    Experience

     

    • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in clerical accounting/cashbook.
    • General computer literacy to at least intermediate level (Windows, MS Word and Excel).
    • It would be advantageous if the applicant has the following:
    • Great Plans or similar accounting software package.
    • Understand age analysis of accounts.
    • Understand General Ledger structures.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • KPA KPI

    Payments

     

    • Daily uploading of payments.
    • Processing of forex payments.
    • Print FNB payment summary, check they correspond to batches, attach to payment packs and hand over for authorization to signatories.
    • Uploading beneficiaries on the on-line banking systems after verification.
    • Ensure all payments are fully authorised by the end of day.
    • Print proof of payments and save on the share folder.

    Bank Reconciliations

     

    • Preparation and reconciliation of monthly bank recons for +/-50 accounts.
    • Daily updating and circulation of the bank balance schedule.
    • Completion and submission of Forex inward receipts.
    • Ensure bank statements are saved on the share drive monthly.

    General

     

    • Assisting with all bank related queries.
    • Accounting and administrative assistance as and when required. 
    • Provide a backup support to the Creditors/Debtors Administrator when required.
    • Assist with the preparation and capturing of monthly journals where required.
    • Ability to work without supervision, assist with audit preparation and supplying supporting documentation as requested.

    Position Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

     

    • Grade 12. 
    • Strictly CA(SA). 
    • Valid membership of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA). 
    • Bachelor of Commerce with Honours in Finance. 
    • Minimum of 12 years’ experience in a Finance environment (Post Articles), 5 years of which must be in a senior management level in a Finance and Supply Chain Management environment (Post obtaining CA(SA) qualification). 
    • Experience in managing a budget of a minimum of about R100 million. 
    • Valid driver’s license. 

    ADDED ADVANTAGE REQUIREMENTS: 

     

    • Completion of a Leadership Management Programme. 
    • Working experience within a regulatory environment. 

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS: 

     

    • Mostly office-based. Limited travelling will be required. 

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: 

    • Finance strategy (inclusive of revenue and supply management). 
    • Financial policies and procedures (Cash flow management, budget planning and monitoring, 
    • financial reporting, asset management, financial management, Tax, PAYE and VAT, Supply Chain Management). 
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS accounting standards. 
    • Demonstrable track record of driving cutting edge operational excellence amongst others, the  planning, developing and implementation best practice, policies, systems and processes.
    • Corporate Governance (e.g., Nursing Act, Companies Act, King IV Report and Code etc.).

    Duties and Responsibilities

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: 

    1. Provide strategic leadership and management in the Division by developing and implementing Operational Plans and the budget. 
    2. Contribute to the development of the company strategic, annual performance plans and reports. 
    3. Develop and implement the Finance strategy in support of the organisational strategy.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Maintenance and Upgrades: Electricians conduct routine maintenance checks on electrical systems to identify potential problems and prevent future issues. They inspect electrical equipment, such as circuit breakers, panels, and transformers, to ensure they are in good working condition. Electricians also perform upgrades and modifications to electrical systems to accommodate changing needs, such as installing additional outlets, upgrading electrical panels, or incorporating energy-efficient lighting solutions.
    • Compliance with Electrical Codes and Safety Standards: Electricians adhere to local and national electrical codes and safety regulations to ensure that electrical systems meet the required standards. They are knowledgeable about safety protocols and take precautions to prevent electrical shocks, fires, and other hazards. Electricians are responsible for grounding systems, installing protective devices like circuit breakers and surge protectors, and ensuring proper insulation and wiring practices
