    Warehouse Manager (Nelspruit)

    Description

    • To ensure the effective operation and maintenance of the Retail store environment

    Requirements

    REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING    

    • Grade 12
    • Code B driver's licence

    REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE            

    • 2-years relevant experience in a store environment
    • 1-year experience at supervisory level will be an advantage

    Contract Administrator : Forwarding (Centurion)

    Description

    • The purpose of this role is to reconcile and capture loads onto Agris System for invoicing to clients and payments to transport vendors.

    Requirements

    REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING    

    • Grade 12

    REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE            

    • 2 - 5 years contract administration experience in the agricultural environment.

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS         

    • Monitor contract delivery movements using the Daily Open Orders Report and Ticket Report.
    • Manually capture tonnages ordered/delivered to non-AFGRI silos, i.e 3rd Party transactions.
    • Reconcile all deliveries between loading and off-loading locations, capture destination tonnages and match loads in shipment to facilitate accurate and timely invoicing.
    • Capture tonnages on contracts delivered on a Direct Delivery basis and match purchases and sales.
    • Report anomalies, deviations and non-deliveries on contracts.
    • Report any stock (tonnage and grade) differences and initiate claims from either the Transporter or Silo operator.
    • Balance and close off Sales contracts in Agris and reconcile and close-off IC contracts.
    • Extend contract delivery end dates at month end where applicable.
    • Follow up and resolve any queries on loads invoiced (turnaround 2 working days) and assist the Admin Assistants to resolve transport queries.
    • Provide necessary documentation to the manager when clients are handed over for non-payment
    • Monitor AGRIS system integrations.
    • Liaise with Trader & Logistics operator to plan upcoming monthly and/or Adhoc deliveries.
    • Prepare Agris contract via Deal Sheet for IC contracts, in time for the delivery date and issue instruction/order on time for Logistics Operator to execute on time.
    • Ensure all loads are timeously captured to ensure that the Admin Assistants process transport tickets/vouchers to SAP for payment within terms.
    • Maintain accurate transport Shipper ID and freight rates in Agris to minimize queries and stoppages.

    TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/ COMPETENCIES          

    • Computer literacy (MS Office).
    • Knowledge of the agricultural grain sector.
    • Understanding of AGRIS system will be advantageous.
    • Verbal and written communication skills.

    Compliance Tax Manager (Centurion)

    Description

    • To effectively manage and oversee all tax compliance requirements for the Group, including Income Tax, VAT, PAYE, SDL, UIF, and related reporting obligations. The role ensures accurate tax reporting, regulatory compliance, effective liaison with SARS and auditors, and proactive management of tax risks across the Group. 

    Requirements

    Minimum Requirements

    • CIMA qualification (CA(SA) advantageous)
    • MCom in Taxation / Higher Diploma in Tax and qualification in International Tax
    • Advanced Diploma in VAT (advantageous)
    • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a tax environment

    Key Performance Areas (KPAs)

    Income Tax

    • Ensure all income tax payments and submissions are completed timeously and accurately
    • Oversee preparation and review of tax returns, including provisional and IT14SD returns
    • Ensure compliance with IFRS tax disclosure requirements
    • Manage tax compliance for both South African and international entities
    • Resolve SARS queries and avoid penalties or interest

    Monthly, Half-Year and Year-End Reporting

    • Review and consolidate monthly tax packs and Group reporting figures
    • Ensure accuracy and completeness of tax reconciliations
    • Prepare monthly and annual tax reporting disclosures
    • Support budget forecasting and tax computations
    • Resolve reporting queries and ensure timely submission of all returns

    SARS Liaison

    • Maintain effective working relationships with SARS officials
    • Ensure prompt and accurate responses to all SARS queries and audits
    • Resolve disputes efficiently and within acceptable timelines
    • Identify and correct SARS-related errors where applicable
    • Safeguard the Group’s compliance reputation with Revenue Authorities

    Liaison with Internal and External Auditors

    • Support audit processes including half-year and year-end audits
    • Collaborate with auditors and internal stakeholders on tax matters
    • Assist with tax research and preparation of technical tax opinions
    • Ensure audit readiness and accuracy of tax-related information
    • Minimise audit findings related to tax compliance

    Tax Risk Management

    • Identify, assess, and mitigate tax risks across the Group
    • Ensure full compliance with applicable tax legislation
    • Manage timely submission of all tax returns and payments
    • Oversee monthly tax calculations and effective tax rate analysis
    • Identify opportunities for tax efficiencies and cost savings

    Technical Competencies

    • Strong knowledge of the Income Tax Act and IFRS tax disclosure requirements
    • Experience in SARS liaison and regulatory compliance
    • Computer literacy and proficiency in tax systems
    • Ability to research international tax jurisdictions (Africa and globally)
    • Knowledge of VATSolve and Onesource (advantageous)
