MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Tertiary Degree/Qualification in Animal Science, Agriculture, or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years in a relevant role (sales experience and animal agriculture background beneficial).

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with dairy and beef farmers.
• Identify opportunities where Semex genetics can improve herd productivity and profitability.
• Conduct Genetic Audits using farm data and visual evaluation to recommend tailored genetic strategies.
• Promote and support the client’s suite of solutions, including genomic testing, mating program, herd monitoring, and dairy consumables.
• Train and assist farm employees in implementing genetic strategies.
• Extract, analyze, and interpret farm data for use in computer-assisted mating and genomic testing programs.
• Diagnose herd challenges and offer solutions that drive customer success and sales growth.

• 5 years experience with Facility Management
• Experienced with Marketing and good in professional photography 
• Experienced as Professional Hunter
• Must be a extroverted, loyal, creative, ambitious, hard working and honest and very innovative, positive person.
• Able take ownership and leadership
• Own rifles
• Valid drivers license with own 4x4 vehicle

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO 

Person 1

• Farm management (Bushclearing, Road , Fence and Water points and so on maintenance )
• Plan and Execution on how to maintain the whole farm ( e.g controlled bush fires)
• Developing together with directors the different price list (International, local and Outfitter price list)
• Monthly Farm reports to the directors
• Management of animals 
• Selling hunts and other relatable activities to local hunters and to Outfitter and also to international clients, we got over our agencies (they hunt either on Leeuwfontein or on other concessions where our farm manager has access)
• Organizing, Planning, execution and Post work of the hunts
• Yearly game count 
• Game breeding ( buying exceptional genes for our breeding herds)
• Maintenance of hunting equipment and all other assets and equipment 
• Hunts with owners and exporting their trophies
• Staff training and management (farm labourers)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Sound Technical Knowledge and experience in Crop Farming and Farm Operations

• Planning, scheduling, and overseeing all day-to-day operations, including: planting, harvesting and maintenance of crops
• Directly Managing all farm personnel (including hiring and training), field work, machinery operations, technical and mechanical tasks
• Ensuring safe working conditions
• Implement and review farm development plans to ensure long term productivity, yield and quality
• Implement and maintain efficient production processes and procedures
• Establish and monitor crop growth, yield and quality and make necessary adjustments to optimise yields
• Develop test fields for crop and variety trials
• Prepare, schedule, execute and record agreed chemical, fertilizer, and spray programmes
• Prepare and control budget for all farm operations, including direct costs, labour, equipment, and machinery repairs and maintenance
• Monitor the budget and report thereon
• Manage repairs and maintenance of Farm implements, equipment, machinery, tractors, and structures
