    Operations Learner - Cape Town

    About the position:

    Learning Opportunity exist for fixed-term work experience in the field of High-Speed Manufacturing. The incumbents will be based at Kimberly Clark Epping Mill (Cape Town). This Learning program requires on-the-job learning supported by structured or institutional learning.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Incumbent to complete Experiential learning whilst working shifts.
    • Comply with all rules and regulations set by the company.
    • Attend and complete all Theoretical training and assessment as per the learner program.
    • Adhere to the Experiential Learning program whilst working 12hrs shifts.
    • Support operations with ad hoc/out-of-program training tasks if and when required.
    • Complete all relevant Competency assessments and apply newly learned skills.
    • Comply with all Company Policies and Procedures.
    • Comply and adhere to all Environmental, Health, and safety requirements.
    • Apply all relevant Product quality standards and procedures.
    • Demonstrate the KC Ways of Working

    • Previous working experience within FMCG will be an added advantage.

    Group Account Manager - PnP/Boxer/Spar

    Your Role:

    Driving success across national customer relationships, you'll be accountable for the total sales and P&L health within the reference customer grouping. This key role requires ownership of commercial strategy development, meeting sales and profit targets, and ensuring effective team enablement and development.

    • Experience: With over 7 years in customer/key account/sales/category management within FMCG, you bring a wealth of experience to lead senior customer-level engagement.
    • Strategic Vision: Adept at translating category trends, macro-economic factors, and competitor insights into a compelling commercial strategy, you drive the long-term strategic view.
    • Financial Acumen: Demonstrated finance sales experience, including managing promotional budgets, trade budgets, and revenue forecasting.
    • Leadership: As a seasoned team leader, you mentor, coach, and lead people development initiatives to ensure a skilled and effective team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Business Planning: Utilize the annual business planning process to create a robust Channel and Customer Strategy in collaboration with the Sales Director.
    • Financial Impact: Develop the financial impact strategy of the customer P&L, managing all levels with the right level of influence.
    • Promotional Strategy: Develop promotional strategies aligned with TPM and RGM frameworks.
    • Forecasting: Drive accurate and robust forecast development, collaborating closely with the supply chain function.
    • Strategic Relationships: Build and enhance senior customer relationships, improving Advantage Group Survey results across customers.
    • Commercial Storytelling: Translate commercial thinking into compelling stories to support business deliverables and the landing of innovation.
    • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate pre and post-customer activity, ensuring continuous improvement of ROI.
    • Team Development: Lead and manage team development, providing mentorship and coaching to ensure continuous improvement.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Postgraduate degree, preferably in a commercial discipline. MBA advantageous.
    • Experience: Extensive experience in FMCG, multiple channel/customer engagement, and senior stakeholder management.
