    Global Transaction Solutions: 6-Month Contract

    Requirements

    Academic Knowledge:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred.

    Work Experience:

    Minimum of 10 years of experience in transaction banking or related areas.

    Main Responsibilities

    Strategic Leadership

    • Understand the target market, customer segments, and their needs.
    • Analyse competitors and identify gaps in the market.
    • Develop and implement the strategic plan for the Global Transaction Solutions department, aligning with the bank's overall objectives.​
    • Identify market opportunities and trends to drive product development and competitiveness

    Product Development and Management

    • Identify required transactional products: notice accounts, overnight loans, savings accounts features, interest on CASA balances, payment services, etc.
    • Oversee the design, development, and management of transaction banking products and services.​
    • Ensure products meet regulatory requirements and address client needs effectively

    Client Relationship Management

    • Collaborate with Relationship Managers to provide tailored transaction banking solutions to clients.​
    • Engage with key clients to understand their transaction banking requirements and ensure high satisfaction levels

    Risk Management and Compliance

    • Ensure all transaction banking activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.​
    • Implement risk management frameworks to mitigate operational and financial risks

    Business Planning/Decision Making

    • Define the target market – example are our focus would be business banking and Commercial with lower end of corporate banking.
    • On the defined target market agree volumes, value and revenue targets
    • Implement the agreed strategy in the best time and cost-effective manne

    Policies and Procedures

    • Evaluate the existing policies and procedures, enhance those that need enhancement and author and implement new policies and procedures required

    People Management

    • Once the initial business case is approved, implement the people plan approved

    Relationship Manager

    BUSINESS:

    • Ensure Business Profitability and Growth in conjunction with the Operational Banker through retention, attraction, and expansion of customers in portfolio.
    • Ensure approval of customer’s lending needs are met in conjunction with the Operational Banker through high quality applications.
    • Ensure that portfolio is 100% self-funded through the attraction of correctly priced deposits.
    • Successfully close cross and up-selling opportunities received from Operational Banker and own sources. Distribute further leads to internal business partners.
    • Achieve Non-Interest Revenue targets.

    RELATIONSHIP AND CLIENT FOCUS:

    • Client Engagement by conducting contacted amount of customer visits.
    • Client Satisfaction by ensuring zero valid complaints from customers.
    • Continuously improve turnaround times
    • Ensure no regrettable customer losses.

    • Ensuring risk metrics stay within set parameters for the portfolio.
    • Support the Operational Banker in all risk related credit issues by ensuring all applicable due diligence on an application is done in accordance to the laid down credit and risk policies and guidelines of the Bank.
    • AML / KYC adherence
    • Market conduct/ customer experience adherence
    • Completion of all compliance training
    • FAIS adherence – general code of conduct

    • 5 years as Relationship Manager in medium/large segment.
