    Field Service Technician - Durban

    Your Role

    • Preventative Maintenance and Repairs (85%) – Perform routine, preventative maintenance, and repairs on Atlas Copco Products.  Preventative maintenance should be conducted in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations (with regards to schedule and scope).  Perform diagnostics on malfunctioning products, determine possible causes for malfunctions and perform repairs as suggested by diagnostics and assessment.  Test and document the proper operating parameters prior to and following preventative maintenance and repairs.  Provide walk-through evaluations and basic system assessments. 
    • Recordkeeping and Documentation (10%) – Complete visit reports, time sheets on daily bases using MAM2. Expense reports should be turned in at least monthly and other job-related paperwork as required. 
    • Warranty Part Returns (5%) – Return parts replaced under warranty as requested by Technical Support, Quality or Service Management.  Returns must be completed within one week accompanied by the correct documents. 
    • Perform assigned duties in accordance with Atlas Copco standards, while always striving to understand the needs and expectations of the customer. Take whatever action is appropriate and required to get the job done and to establish/ maintain communication with all people/ employees considered necessary to get the job done.  Perform additional assignments as required. 

    To succeed,you will need

    • Good computer skills – MS Office, computer proficiency as required for communication, research, work orders and programming various controllers.
    • Excellent customer service and communications skills (oral and written).
    • Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge or equivalent experience.
    • Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical components.
    • Able to work independently with strong self-management and professionalism and complete work within assigned deadlines.
    • Customer focused.
    • Good oral and written communication skills.
    • Detail orientated.
    • Extensive travel to customer locations, including out-of-town and overnight travel. Available for a rotation schedule during evenings, weekends, and holidays call work.
    • Must be able to lift to 25kg on a regular basis and lift to 45kg occasionally.
    • Must be able to work in industrial environments including extremes in temperature with continuous walking, reaching, bending, and kneeling.
    • Compressor knowledge will be an advantage.

    Technical Service Engineer - Jet Park

    Your role

    • To provide technical service and support to our customers, through regular on-site visits, providing repairs and tool calibrations. 
    • Working as part of the Atlas Copco Service team, to continuously improve our customer satisfaction.
    • To provide Repairs and Field Service Support on Industrial Power Tooling including Electronic, Pneumatic handheld and fixtured tools.
    • To provide the customer with technical support during breakdowns, over the phone and when required on site.
    • To conduct regular customer visits providing technical support, assistance, and guidance as and when required.
    • To maintain records of all activities.
    • To carry out calibrations and preventative maintenance tasks on a scheduled and planned basis, according to laboratory and ISO procedures.
    • To plan, manage and carry out the installation of our equipment at the customers premises. 
    • To ensure all repair and calibration workshop documentation is completed correctly and up to date.
    • To provide written reports on repairs and incidents as requested by management or the customer.
    • To provide advice and feedback to the customer on the use of their equipment.
    • To work as part of a team with our sales representatives and the customer to help address any support and technical issues.

    To succeed, you will need

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Ability to take ownership and provide value added solutions to our customers. 
    • Motivated, self-starter, and organized.
    • Flexibility in being able to respond to the customers’ demands – this will involve early starts and late finishes, as well as occasionally attending plant outside normal hours, in an emergency response capacity.
    • Clean and valid driving license.

    Sales Representative - AIF Engineer - Rusterburg

    The Role

    • Sales of all Oil Free Air division equipment with a focus on existing and  all new products
    • Maintain and increase market share
    • Territory management
    • Identify new business and applications
    • Achieve KPI's and  targets for areas of responsibility
    • Actively promote sales, services and spare parts sales
    • Distributor and customer management with a dedicated focus on new product launches, training and technology trends
    • Coordinating sales efforts with marketing campaigns
    • Contributing team player with all relevant  internal and external  stakeholders
    • To conduct business within the Atlas Copco guidelines and "The Way we do Things".
    • To support sales through the effective provision of sales data including the timely recording of visits and action reports and analysis of sales performance against target.
    • Maintaining and updating CRM databases and ensure that all activities are captures as per instructions to ensure transparincy at all time.

     What we expect of you?

    • 3+ years proven experience of selling capital equipment. (Compressor industry and Compressor capital sales experience is required)
    • Previous Compressor, Quality air products, enegergy savings products and other compressed air related product sales experience is required
    • Experience in sales territory management
    • Valid driver's license

    Knowledge / Educational requirements

    • Grade 12
    • Marketing/Technical degree or diploma or equivalent through sales experience
    • Computer Literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and general navigation to master the Atlas Copco Sales Programs)

    Personality requirements

    • Self motivated with good negotiating skills 
    • An enagaging team player with good presentation skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Willing to travel throughout the Gauteng, North West and Limpopo region when require to ensure sufficiant market presence.
    • Develop and maintain a healthy customer visit and sales focus remain a key factor
