Purpose of the Role
- To establish and lead a formal GNFR function that delivers end-to-end governance, sourcing, contracting, and value creation across all non-trade spend categories. The role is responsible for driving cost reduction, supplier performance, compliance, and standardised procurement processes while building a pipeline of high-impact commercial initiatives across the business.
Minimum Requirements
- CA(SA), CIMA, BCom or equivalent tertiary qualification
- Minimum 7 years’ experience within an FMCG environment
- Proven experience in indirect spend transformation, including utilities, facilities, services, and Capex
- Strong commercial, negotiation, and contracting capability
- Experience implementing procurement processes, systems, and compliance controls
- Strong governance and risk management mindset
- Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional projects and teams
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
- SAP experience advantageous

Strategic Leadership & Governance
- Define and implement the GNFR vision, operating model, and value roadmap
- Establish procurement policies, governance frameworks, sourcing controls, and supplier standards
- Drive PO compliance and reduce off-contract spend
- Lead GNFR steering committees and track strategic initiatives
Procurement Operations & Process Optimisation
- Design and implement end-to-end procurement workflows and controls
- Improve procurement systems, supplier master governance, spend analytics, and contract repositories
- Develop standardised procurement processes across stores, DCs, Finance, Property, and Operations
Strategic Sourcing & Commercial Value Creation
- Lead sourcing events, negotiations, and commercial initiatives across key categories
- Develop category strategies focused on total cost of ownership and long-term value creation
- Build and present business cases, savings initiatives, and cost optimisation strategies
- Drive continuous improvement and measurable savings delivery
Supplier & Contract Management
- Establish supplier segmentation and performance management frameworks
- Manage supplier SLAs, KPIs, compliance, and service reviews
- Strengthen contracting disciplines, including risk clauses, warranties, rebates, and maintenance obligations
- Ensure supplier onboarding and compliance with regulatory and company requirements
Stakeholder Management & Change Leadership
- Partner closely with Operations, Property, IT, Finance, DCs, and Support Office teams
- Drive adoption of preferred suppliers, catalogue buying, and procurement compliance
- Build procurement capability through training, playbooks, and process standardisation
Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing GNFR team
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and measurable performance
- Mentor and develop procurement capability within the broader business

Purpose of the Role
- The Commercial Support Analyst will provide direct commercial, analytical, and administrative support to the Senior Commercial HOD. The successful candidate will play a key role in analysing financial and market data, preparing reports and presentations, monitoring supplier and category performance, and supporting commercial decision-making processes across the department.
Minimum Requirements
- 3-Year BCom Degree or equivalent qualification in Analytics or related field
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in a commercial analytical role
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical and numerical reasoning abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

- Analyse market trends, category performance, and supplier analytics using market insight platforms

- Prepare and present ad hoc reports and presentations for senior management
- Monitor supplier, category, buyer, and promotional performance, providing recommendations for improvement
- Track and analyse combo promotion performance and maintain historical performance records
- Support pricing decisions through data-driven analysis
- Provide support and engagement on supplier dashboard initiatives
Administrative & Operational Support
- Manage and coordinate special commercial projects and sensitive initiatives
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Assist in policy and process improvement initiatives
- Compile promotional sales forecasts and analyse post-promotion performance accuracy
- Manage seasonal and ad hoc controls, ensuring claims and collections are accurately processed
- Support trading term compliance pre-audits
- Ensure compliance with EDI processes and procedures

The Pupose:
- To administrate all travel and subs for the department and learners. To co-ordinate training venues and catering.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric is mandatory
- Diploma/Degree in Business Administration or relevant admin qualification, would be advantageous.
- 3 - 6 months – Experience of the W&R SETA MIS will be an advantage
- Proficiency in computer skills, especially Excel.
- Assertive and compassionate approach to ensure effective learner support.
- Extroverted personality to engage effectively with learners and stakeholders.
- Strong emphasis on accuracy and reliability.

- Arrange and authorize all travel with Stores and Travel
- Arrange accommodation for Trainers and Trainees
- Book venues for training
- Book catering requirements
- Authorize payments for meals and or/taxi’s
- Communicate with learners to ensure safe travels
- Coordinate dietary requirements
- Issue learner meals
Training Administration
- Register all new trainees on learnerships on SETA MIS
- Keep trainee assessment results up to date
- Keep record of all financial authorizations made to trainees
- Capture learner progress of assessments
- Support facilitators with admin functions where required
