    Business Analyst - Credit Card Systems

    Job description

    We currently have an opportunity available for a Business Analyst within our Systems Development team that will focus on the Credit Cards Systems.

    Purpose:

    • Liaise with stakeholders to formulate functional specifications which provide effective technology solutions for project and non-project business requirements related to the Credit Card product.
    • Guide the system development processes across internal and external IT technical resources to facilitate the successful implementation, support and maintenance of such systems.
    • Continuous business and industry research to identify problems, needs, opportunities for improvement and guiding the critical evaluation of new and existing software / application solutions.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Grade 12
    • Ideally a relevant 3-year tertiary qualification in Business and Information Technology (i.e. B. Comm. Information Systems)
    • Minimum 3 years’ relevant software development experience as a Business Analyst in the Credit Card Industry.
    • A formal tertiary qualification (certificate / diploma) in Business Analysis would be advantageous.

    Knowledge of:

    • Credit Card Account Application, Origination and Card issuance
    • Account Processing and Charges
    • Revolving and Budget Facilities
    • Pay date Management and Debit Order Collections
    • External Collection management
    • Product and Card related compliance
    • Credit Card Client Origination, Processing and Maintenance
    • Credit Card Account Origination, Calculation, Fulfilment, Payment and Processing
    • Credit Card Client and Account related compliance
    • Credit Card Client and Account related reporting

    HR Business Partner

    Job description

    Purpose of role:

    Responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in allocated business units.
    Provide guidance and support to management on human resource-related practices and principles.

    Qualifications:

    • National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or national Certificate (Vocational)
    • Relevant 3 year degree in HR/Industrial Psychology/Psychology (i.e. B.Comm Industrial Psychology)
    • Relevant post-graduate degree in HR/Industrial Psychology/Psychology would be ideal
    • Professional registration with the HPCSA as an Industrial Psychologist or Psychometrist would be advantageous

    Experience:

    • At least 2 – 4 years’ proven experience in 2 or more specialist areas within HR (i.e. recruitment and selection, assessments, on-boarding, people development, performance management, talent management etc.)
    • Must have proven experience in the:
    • Coordination and implementation of multiple tasks/processes/project deliverables etc.
    • Implementation and maintenance of formal policies/procedures/flows/documentation and processes, preferably within an HR environment
    • Knowledge and understanding of:
    • Business Practices
    • General HR processes and procedures

    Knowledge and skills:

    • Computer Literacy (MS Powerpoint, MS Word, MS Outlook with advanced MS Excel)
    • Business writing
    • General Office systems and processes
    • Ability to professional communicate/interact with internal and external clients on all organisational levels
    • Planning, organising and coordination skills
    • Reporting and business writing skills
    • Interpersonal and relationship management skills
    • Attention to detail (accuracy)
    • Consultation, facilitation & presentation skills
    • Influencing skills
    • Analytical skills

    Additional requirements:

    • Clear credit and criminal record
    • Own car and valid driver’s license
