Your tasks

• Standards - Ensure, maintain, and supervise the generic technical equipment standards for machine installations and upgrades of equipment and the connection to manufacturing IT systems.
• Cyber Security - Execute, coordinate, monitor and actively support the implementation of cybersecurity measures and IPC management tasks.
• Change Management - Ensure adherence of the PLC Software Change Management process to formally authorize, approve and document all changes of small, medium or large impact of control and manufacturing systems. Administration, organization and implementation of standard OT systems and tools.
• Training / Knowledge Management - Provide training to the Maintenance Team and other DS Engineers related to OT/IT interfaces. Adapt training content according to trainees’ knowledge. Give clear instructions. Answer questions or find another person who can do so. Motivate the trainees to try what they have learned.
• Communication / Networking - Maintain day to day communication with respect and collaboration with management and all the engineers in the DS department. Ensure the communication between local and Maintenance personnel inside the plant. Ensure the communication with suppliers and the central organizations.  
• Project Support / Service - Provide 2nd level support for breakdowns (1st - electricians / Technicians). Provide support of innovation, roll-out and expansion projects and manufacturing IT systems, Utilities & Buildings and Maintenance departments. Implement upgrade concepts for machine components and technologies, which have reached its and of life, to ensure competitiveness and maintainability.
• ESH - Ensure implementation of measures and maintain controls. Raise awareness and provide information about ESH responsibilities and duties. Ensure immediate notification and response and initiate preventive measures in case of unsafe or polluting hazards. Demonstrate exemplary personal behaviour in ESH and motivate others.

Your profile

• Bachelor of electrical engineering or equivalent
• Control &Drives engineering experience in a production industry.
• Experience in several machine improvement projects, refurbishment, upgrade, or installation projects

Your tasks

• Production/ Quality - Deliver Quality Products according to standards; Follow and prepare machines for preventative maintenance planning; Drive efficient output and overall equipment effectiveness Check correct specifications are available on the shopfloor according to the sequencing plan.
• Plans - Create and implement Contingency Plans in the event of breakdowns, material delays or modifications/upgrades to machinery. Implement corrective Actions Plans to improve quality and throughput; Monitor adherence to production schedule.   
• Agreements/ reports/ Documentation - Start 30 minutes before shift to do a component floor check; Lead the handover to ensure swiftly start of new shift and complete document for records. Create Production Performance Report; Conduct Layered Process Audits, Authenticate the certification matrix of all operators as displayed in CBT1 area.
• Costs/ Losses - Conduct scrap analysis report shiftly; Coordinating the utilisation of employees to minimise the impact on costs i.e. multiskilling; Plan and coordinate manning levels according to Industrial Engineering and HR standards Reduce re-work and scrap generation in area of responsibility.
• Systems - Manage the validation of all materials consumed in the production process and adherence to dispositioning process on relevant system.  Verify that recipes are compliant and are available for production on Shopfloor systems. Complete data points according to quality specification on Quality Data System
• ESH - ESH: issue procedures and work instructions, ensure implementation of measures, and maintain controls; raise awareness, ensure regular ESH training and provide information about ESH responsibilities and duties; ensure immediate notification and response, and initiate preventive measures in case of unsafe or polluting hazards; demonstrate exemplary personal behavior in ESH and motivate others.
• Management - Provide associates with relevant means and ability to fulfil duties to their full potential by using My Leadership principles; Facilitate the closing of Training and development gaps as identified; Mentoring, coaching, motivating, reward and recognition of associates; Hold associates accountable for performs, deliverables and behaviour through the appropriate disciplinary process.  

Your profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Operations Management, Quality, Business Management or Engineering
• 5 - 6 years manufacturing relevant field
• Project and/or Process Experience
• Leadership Experience of approx. 3 years of a medium size group of employees

Your tasks

• Industrialized Products/Process/ Platforms - Supports the planning and manufacturing of Experimental Tire Orders (ETO) including delivery and reports on time. Responsible for execution of industrialization of all new and experimental components, products, and processes in cooperation with R&D. Ensures timeliness of industrialization as well as adherence to product design, platform design, release and performance requirements of R&D and plant. Make use of various systems. 
• Costs Support/Value Leadership / Plant support - Ensuring that tyre mass does not deviate from specification. Initiate Value Leadership measures to improve the direct material and process costs of tyre according to plant objectives; Offer technical alternatives which are optimized for process capabilities, cost, minimized rework and comply with the established Release Notice Procedure, Cured Tire Dimensions, and QMD Standards.
• R&D Partner - Build up a thorough understanding of R&D processes within the plant organization; Promote new technologies tire sizes and products within the plant; Act as main technical interface to R&D and keep open and honest communication between R&D and the plant.
• Strategic Planning - Assess plant readiness based on future R&D requirements in terms of invest and capacity; Drive process to translate R&D requirements into tangible impacts on the plant (in terms of invest, capacity, capability); Ensure that internal KPIs are met on a consistent basis and initiate structured problem-solving tasks.
• Projects - Supervises and manages projects related to industrialization and continuous improvement, working with project management structure in the plant for successful implementation within a given timeline.

Your profile

• Relevant Tertiary qualifcation, preferably in Engineering
• 2-5 years experience
• Experience in Tyre industry preferred
• Tyre development/industrialization know-how advantageous
