Production/ Quality - Deliver Quality Products according to standards; Follow and prepare machines for preventative maintenance planning; Drive efficient output and overall equipment effectiveness Check correct specifications are available on the shopfloor according to the sequencing plan.
Plans - Create and implement Contingency Plans in the event of breakdowns, material delays or modifications/upgrades to machinery. Implement corrective Actions Plans to improve quality and throughput; Monitor adherence to production schedule.
Agreements/ reports/ Documentation - Start 30 minutes before shift to do a component floor check; Lead the handover to ensure swiftly start of new shift and complete document for records. Create Production Performance Report; Conduct Layered Process Audits, Authenticate the certification matrix of all operators as displayed in CBT1 area.
Costs/ Losses - Conduct scrap analysis report shiftly; Coordinating the utilisation of employees to minimise the impact on costs i.e. multiskilling; Plan and coordinate manning levels according to Industrial Engineering and HR standards Reduce re-work and scrap generation in area of responsibility.
Systems - Manage the validation of all materials consumed in the production process and adherence to dispositioning process on relevant system. Verify that recipes are compliant and are available for production on Shopfloor systems. Complete data points according to quality specification on Quality Data System
ESH - ESH: issue procedures and work instructions, ensure implementation of measures, and maintain controls; raise awareness, ensure regular ESH training and provide information about ESH responsibilities and duties; ensure immediate notification and response, and initiate preventive measures in case of unsafe or polluting hazards; demonstrate exemplary personal behavior in ESH and motivate others.
Management - Provide associates with relevant means and ability to fulfil duties to their full potential by using My Leadership principles; Facilitate the closing of Training and development gaps as identified; Mentoring, coaching, motivating, reward and recognition of associates; Hold associates accountable for performs, deliverables and behaviour through the appropriate disciplinary process.
