Industrialized Products/Process/ Platforms - Supports the planning and manufacturing of Experimental Tire Orders (ETO) including delivery and reports on time. Responsible for execution of industrialization of all new and experimental components, products, and processes in cooperation with R&D. Ensures timeliness of industrialization as well as adherence to product design, platform design, release and performance requirements of R&D and plant. Make use of various systems.
Costs Support/Value Leadership / Plant support - Ensuring that tyre mass does not deviate from specification. Initiate Value Leadership measures to improve the direct material and process costs of tyre according to plant objectives; Offer technical alternatives which are optimized for process capabilities, cost, minimized rework and comply with the established Release Notice Procedure, Cured Tire Dimensions, and QMD Standards.
R&D Partner - Build up a thorough understanding of R&D processes within the plant organization; Promote new technologies tire sizes and products within the plant; Act as main technical interface to R&D and keep open and honest communication between R&D and the plant.
Strategic Planning - Assess plant readiness based on future R&D requirements in terms of invest and capacity; Drive process to translate R&D requirements into tangible impacts on the plant (in terms of invest, capacity, capability); Ensure that internal KPIs are met on a consistent basis and initiate structured problem-solving tasks.
Projects - Supervises and manages projects related to industrialization and continuous improvement, working with project management structure in the plant for successful implementation within a given timeline.
ESH - Issue procedures and work instructions, ensure implementation of measures and maintain controls; Raise awareness, ensure regular ESH training, and provide information about ESH responsibilities and duties; Ensure immediate notification and response, and initiate preventive measures in case of unsafe or polluting hazards; Demonstrate exemplary personal behaviour in ESH and motivate others.
Business Team - Provide technical support to production on performance relevant constructional / tyre engineering issues by using appropriate problem-solving methods; Promote teamwork and efficient distribution of tasks within the plant organization.

Relevant Tertiary qualifcation, preferably in Engineering
2-5 years experience
Experience in Tyre industry preferred
Tyre development/industrialization know-how advantageous
