Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:
Change parts control;
The daily receipt, storage and issuing of all change parts which entails:
- check the quality and maintenance of parts returned to change parts store;
- do maintenance checks and adjustments of parts;
- lubrication of parts;
- issuing and receiving of parts to and from customers;
Related administration, which broadly entails:
- completing documents required for the issue/receipt of parts to the lines;
- keep inventory updated;
Maintenance of housekeeping and safety standards;
Assist with stock takes as and/or when required;
Assist the Maintenance Team with ad hoc duties as and/or when required.
The successful candidate must have the following qualification, skills and experience:
Minimum Grade 12 qualification;
Technical ability to do basis repairs on the change parts.
Basic hand tools skills.
Work experience within an engineering environment will be advantageous;
Knowledge of all workshop/engineering tools, machines and change parts will be advantageous;
Be a good team player;
Energetic and enjoy a fast paced working environment;
Proven verbal and written communication skills;
Sound interpersonal skills;
Ability to work independently and under pressure;
Ability to cope with the inherent physical demands of the position;
Be customer focused;
Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:
Repairs and maintenance to machinery and equipment in line with prescribed regulations and standards;
Regular inspections, fault finding and preventative maintenance jobs;
Innovation and business improvements in support of operational and segment goals;
Implemented initiatives of business plans;
Turning, milling, welding and fitting for fabrication of components;
Participate in the mini-business activities (E²);
Adhering to relevant health, risk & safety regulations and quality standards.
The successful candidate must preferably have the following experience/skills:
N3 equivalent Mechanical qualification (NQF 4), Mechanical Trade (Fitter/ Turner/ Millwright)
2 years experience in a Manufacturing environment
N4 – N6 Technical qualification will be advantageous
Experience in an FMCG environment will be advantageous
Working experience with high speed bottling machinery a distinct advantage
Labelling experience advantageous
Ability to work accurately and according to precise measurements and specifications
Competent in turning, milling, argon and arc welding
Competent in pneumatics and hydraulics
Reflect good leadership behaviour - towards colleagues, superior and company values
Able to do in depth problem solving and fault finding
Able to cope with the inherent physical demands of the position
Able to work shifts, on weekends and flexible hours
Have reliable transport to and from work
Qualification required:
N3 equivalent Mechanical qualification (NQF 4), Mechanical Trade (Fitter/ Turner/ Millwright)
Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:
Manage the receipt and dispatch of bulk spirit
Lead and Develop subordinates
Manage bulk stock, monthly stock takes and relevant documentation
General administrative duties (Excise, ICC, Bulk Movements on SAP).
Compile and submit excise accounts relevant to area of responsibility
Leading and participating in the Site E² programme (World class manufacturing practices)
Ensure proper internal control in terms of bulk movements on Site
Ensure a sound relationship with internal and external clients and suppliers
Ensure adherence to health, safety and environmental requirements
Manage weighbridge activities (Stand–in when needed)
The successful candidate must have the following qualification/experience/skills/attributes:
Matric or equivalent
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity within a Bulk Logistics or similar environment
A relevant tertiary qualification (Diploma or degree) will be highly advantageous
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proven leadership skills with an ability to motivate and develop the team
The ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in MS Office, with a demonstrable knowledge of SAP
Excellent organisational, coordination and planning skills
Excellent conflict resolution and problem solving skills
Willingness to work long, irregular hours when required
Punctuality and attendance reliability
