    Site Supervisor (Northern Cape - Kudumane)

    Description

    • Align operational plans with site priorities by coordinating production planning, scheduling activities, and managing the end-to-end flow of materials, including ordering, transportation, storage, and distribution. 
    • Oversee equipment and product maintenance by maintaining accurate inventories, coordinating procurement, tracking usage and condition. 
    • Manage explosive-related incidents through timely investigations, initiation of emergency response protocols, stakeholder coordination, and formal incident reporting. 
    • Achieve targeted face advancement by developing detailed blasting plans in collaboration with engineers and geologists, and scheduling blasting activities in line with mining and production targets. (supervisor/explosive engineer/technician.
    • Supervise full blasting services and down-the-hole operations, including on-site maintenance of MMUs and related equipment, ensuring proper execution and daily operational compliance. 
    • Ensure daily operational compliance with Enaex work instructions by applying a thorough understanding of guidelines and implementing appropriate controls. 
    • Oversee employee training programs, particularly Planned Task Observations (PTOs), by understanding work instructions, assessing the work instructions and organising sessions to close the gaps, and reporting on outcomes monthly. 
    • Maintain contractor pack compliance by understanding regulatory requirements, sourcing and updating documentation to ensure monthly compliance. 
    • Execute risk assessments and apply mitigation measures as part of the safety management system, ensuring consistent adherence to standards. 
    • Manage PPE stock and usage by maintaining inventory levels, processing orders, and enforcing compliance with PPE protocols. 
    • Oversee stock management by integrating raw material planning with production schedules and ensuring effective inventory control systems.

    Requirements

    • Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent. 
    • BSc or B Eng in Mining Engineering or similar. 
    • Code 08 C1 driver’s license.
    • Open Cast Blasting certificate. 
    • MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel & SAP.
    • IMS System. 
    • 5+ years relevant mining / explosives industry experience.

    Customer Service Representative (North West - Rustenburg)

    Description

    • Respond to support calls, emails, and tickets promptly by acknowledging concerns, providing real-time troubleshooting, and delivering empathetic, timely solutions. 
    • Assist with online payments and process applications, forms, and custom service requests with accuracy, ensuring a seamless customer experience.

    Site Administrator (Northern Cape - Postmasburg)

    Description

    • Support the team in meeting targets, deadlines, and quality standards by understanding project objectives, coordinating tasks and timelines, and communicating priorities and expectations effectively. 
    • Assist with stock control by labelling, categorising, and tracking inventory using the system; support stock receipt, ensure accurate data entry and storage, perform stock checks, and report discrepancies to the Site Supervisor. 
    • Assist the team in aligning tasks with budget requirements by tracking expenditures, communicating budget status, negotiating favourable supplier terms, identifying cost-saving opportunities, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely invoice processing. 
    • Promote operational efficiency by inspecting infrastructure, equipment, and tools; identifying damage or malfunction; scheduling preventative maintenance; and providing training on proper usage and care. 
    • Minimise site risks by regularly inspecting for hazards and safety concerns, monitoring equipment and environmental conditions, understanding emergency response protocols, and keeping the team informed of safety measures. 
    • Contribute to effective warehouse reporting by understanding reporting requirements, coordinating report creation and distribution, capturing data in the system, and filing reports in accordance with procedures on a monthly and ad hoc basis.

    Maintenance & Engineering Planner (Northern Cape - Postmasburg)

    Description

    • Complete engineering and maintenance planning by developing plans aligned with the work management process and departmental priorities, ensuring optimal asset utilisation and cost-effectiveness, monitoring adherence to plans, and escalating non-compliance within specified deadlines.
    • Responsible for project planning activities across business units by applying established planning processes through the work management instruction system to ensure effective scheduling and execution.
    • Prepare and submit planning adherence schedules and departmental reports by collecting relevant data, aligning findings with maintenance and work plans, and compiling reports using defined templates within required timelines.
    • Implement new methodologies and technologies by participating in relevant training, applying learnings in operational planning, monitoring outcomes, and providing feedback on successes and areas for improvement within agreed deadlines.

    Logistics Scheduler (Gauteng)

    Description

    • Schedule transport across the value chain, covering both stock transport orders and customer deliveries, local and cross-border
    • Compile optimal loading and delivery schedules
    • Source capacity and allocate loads to transporters, both own fleet and 3PLs, to ensure effective use of resources, customer service and cost containment
    • Generate SAP documentation, including shipments and loading instructions
    • Ensure transporters have the necessary documentation for loading, and that correct and valid transport permits are in place
    • Ensure supplier compliance with safety rules, business rules and scheduling parameters
    • Continuously track schedule execution and adherence
    • Conduct dynamic rescheduling and re-planning to accommodate constant changes in market or business requirements
    • Implement corrective controls to achieve schedule demands regardless of changing circumstances
    • Monitor demurrage charges from 3PLs
    • Continuously reduce cost and improve service levels within the constraints of business rules and safety requirements

    • Maintain the implemented unit operations plan by understanding key activities, projects and performance indicators, communicating objectives to relevant stakeholders, and monitoring execution daily
    • Monitor implementation of unit business processes by monitoring compliance, identifying process anomalies and executing corrective action as required
    • Drive effective utilisation and continuous development of unit systems
    • Adhere to company policies and procedures, and keep updated with newly implemented procedures

    Requirements

    • Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent
    • National Diploma in Supply Chain, Engineering or Logistics Degree or similar role
    • B Com / B Tech in Supply Chain, Engineering or Logistics Degree or similar (Advantageous)
    • 5+ years in Logistics Scheduling or Dispatch and Expediting Control experience
    • Experience in different loading / offloading methods applicable to transportation environment
    • Experience across explosives product groups
    • SAP TMS experience (Advantageous)
    • MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, SAP
