    Dispatch Assistant

    Description

    • Inspect all unserviceable spares to ensure they are flushed and prepared for shipment before being inducted into the warehouse;
    • Inspect the paperwork for all unserviceable spares to ensure completion before inducting them into the warehouse;
    • Correctly pack spares onto shelves to prevent any further damage to parts and components;
    • Work closely with the planning department to ensure the required movements are done on SAM;
    • Conduct daily stock checks on all items marked as unserviceable in SAM;
    • Work with internal stake holders to resolve any problems;
    • Update stock on the SAM system;
    • Ensure all items are packed correctly to prevent damage during the shipping process;
    • Coordinate with shipping companies to arrange the pickup and delivery of cargo;
    • Communicate with other departments within the company to ensure timely delivery of shipments;
    • Provide daily feedback to internal and external customers/stakeholders;
    • Ensure the dispatch area is always maintained in a state of readiness for audits;
    • Adhere to procedures and standards at all time.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential);
    • 1-2 years' experience in warehousing (Essential);
    • Dangerous goods and Aircraft spares packing (Advantageous);
    • Physically fit (Essential);
    • Willing to work overtime as and when required;
    • Willing to work 24 hour shifts (Essential);
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written);
    • Knowledge of ERP system (Advantageous);
    • Deadline driven work with minimal supervision.

    Warehouse Assistant

    Description

    • Move inventory and materials across facilities;
    • Process inventory for delivery;
    • Sort, organize and store inventory in the proper location;
    • Package items and label it correctly;
    • Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors;
    • Stack and organize large bulk items;
    • Update logs and documentation for inventory processing;
    • Direct and conduct routine warehouse cleaning tasks;
    • Monitor and manage inventory control;
    • Perform warehouse inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits;
    • Handle delicate and sensitive products with utmost care to avoid damages;
    • Handle and operate necessary tools and accessories in maintaining and managing a warehouse in line with SOPs;
    • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations;
    • Perform daily cycle counts and work with the Inventory Clerk to resolve any discrepancies.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential);
    • Warehouse Training certification (Advantageous);
    • Dangerous goods and Aircraft spares packing certifications (Advantageous);
    • 1-2 years administration experience in a mid-size organisation (Essential);
    • Willing to work overtime as and when required;
    • Willing to work 24 hour shifts (Essential);
    • Knowledge of Warehousing standards;

    MRO Software Specialist (Maintenance)

    Description

    • Coordinate and assist with the implementation of the new MRO Software;
    • Provide specialised advice on new and updated business processes required to ensure a smooth and optimised operation of the MRO software for the department;
    • Identify software optimisations and ensure that solutions are tailored to departmental and business needs;
    • Conduct system tests and ensure that the system runs efficiently;
    • Test and implement any new patches after the GoLive;
    • Provide system support to staff within the maintenance department;
    • Analyse system performance and advise on any improvements required to meet FlySafair's evolving business needs and or requirements;
    • Implement system enhancements and design changes to custom software;
    • Maintain system knowledge;
    • Collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure operational software support efficiency and asset management;
    • Maintain knowledge of relevant regulations, policies and guidelines;
    • Provide expert advice on any system-related matters;
    • Adhere to statutory regulations, organisational standards, policies and procedures;
    • Report non-compliance and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance;
    • Analyse Stakeholder needs and identify improvement initiatives;
    • Maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster meaningful interactions.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential);
    • Relevant Diploma (Advantageous);
    • 8-12 years of maintenance experience in a mid-size organisation (Essential);
    • Experience implementing MRO software (Essential);
    • Experience working on B737 aircraft type (Advantageous);
    • Knowledge of MRO system functionality (Essential);
    • Knowledge of aircraft documentation;
    • Knowledge of creating amending and business processes;
    • Willing to work overtime;
    • Willing to travel domestic and international;
    • Willing to be available on a standby basis where required;
    • Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word);
    • Communication skills;
    • Planning and organising skills;
    • Interpersonal skills;
    • Project planning skills;
    • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.

    Customer Service Supervisor

    Description

    • Assist passengers with ticket sales, bookings and flight changes;
    • Handle issues such as delays, cancellations, and other operational challenges;
    • Explain processes to customers and provide assistance where necessary;
    • Supervise Ticket Sales staff;
    • Supervise ticket sales representatives, including their training, coaching, and performance evaluation;
    • Ensure that all ticket sales representatives adhere to FlySafair policies and procedures, including pricing, ticketing, and refund policies;
    • Resolve customer complaints and issues related to ticket sales;
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the ticket sales department, including managing staff, scheduling and shifts;
    • Ensure that all ticket sales are handled efficiently and accurately without any errors or discrepancies;
    • Liaise with customers and maintain a visible, accessible presence for both staff and passengers at all times.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential);
    • Travel Degree or Diploma (Advantageous);
    • Minimum of 2-4 years' experience in an Airline/Aviation environment (Passenger Services and/or Ramp Services and/or Baggage Handling);
    • No criminal or credit record;
    • Must be willing to work on weekends and public holidays;
    • Excellent understanding and experience of delivering great customer service;
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook);
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written);
    • Conflict resolution skills;
    • Excellent phone etiquette;
    • Must be willing to work shifts.
