    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Supports application and/or technology portfolio management including health of the portfolio, release management, change control, supporting lifecycle, workload management, consumption management and capacity demand management. 
    • Assist in New Model Programme implementation and special projects for plant by facilitating between Programme implementation team and Local SITE IT. 
    • Supports service level management for assigned application and/or technology portfolio. 
    • Ensures compliance with Ford IT's architecture standards, processes, tools, and Methodologies.
    • Communicates effectively with the customer daily. 
    • First-line support (level 0 &1) of Manufacturing and admin IT systems and supporting infrastructure.
    • Manage and Maintain Asset Management & disposal processes.
    • Understanding of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in order to work better with others.
    • Contribute to innovation, quality, waste elimination and cost saving

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • National Diploma / B Tech NQF level 6 in IT or equivalent experience in a relevant field
    • Minimum 4 to 5 years with increasing responsibilities in the area of systems and user support, with experience in day-to-day operations, customer service, and/or problem resolution.
    •  Understanding of IT support in Manufacturing environment.
    • Understanding of Microsoft Power Apps and Artificial intelligence will be advantageous

    Artisan Auto Electrician

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Required to ensure standardized strip-back of battery assembly pack.
    • Understand and apply strip back procedure which will be shared
    • Understand and interpret fault code from QLS-CM
    • Communicate failure mode effectively 
    • During teardown, record all component disassembly data
    • Make use of QLS-CM for data collection
    • Communicate & escalate all recurring defects from stations in your zone.
    • Maintain the toolbox & tools in good condition.
    • Facilitate root cause analysis and PCA implementation.
    • Provide coaching on avoidable process failure modes to team members as required by process coach. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Process Coach

    ROLE SUMMARY

    The Process Coach will be responsible to Lead Trim, Chassis & Final Lines, be accountable for Production line, managing change and coaching employees.

    POSITION DETAILS

    • Ensure production targets are met as outlined in SQDCPME Policy Deployment.
    • Maintain discipline & standardized process in work areas as outlined in Operation Instruction Sheet (OIS), Work Element Sheet (WES) & Work Balance Board (WBB) procedures.
    • Understand, Implement & Manage Ford’s Production System (FPS).
    • Manage absenteeism levels, employee versatility & manning assignments in area of responsibility. (Require to Operate (RTO) matches DROT)
    • Maintain the areas Quality Operating System (Zero Defects Shipped to next ZONE)
    • Participate in PIC Room, Variability Reduction Team (VRT), Ford Customer Production Audit (FCPA) & Just Do It (JDI requirements.
    • Understand, Analyze & React to Electrical Tests Issues (Software Download (SWDL), Configuration. Electronic Check Out System (ECOS) & Pre-Rolls) – Interim Corrective Action (ICA) & Permanent Correction Action (PCA) through the Painter Process.
    • Support & Filter data for Mechanical & Heavy Repair Paynter Reviews –Interim Corrective Action (ICA) & Permanent Correction Action (PCA) all issues from your area.
    • Use Factory Information Systems (FIS) to reduce production stoppages in your area, work with Manufacturing Engineering (ME), Industrial Engineering (IE), Maintenance and any support area to close concerns.
    • Cost control: Overtime & Scrap (Track and reduce cost).
    • Enforce Company Safety Regulations, Departmental Housekeeping, & Environmental Standards maintaining a healthy & safe work environment (i.e. ISO 9000 / ISO 14000 & TS 16949 procedures.

    PERFORMANCE MEASURES/ SUCCESS CRITERIA

    • Maintain discipline & standardized process in work areas as outlined in Operation Instruction Sheet (OIS), Work Element Sheet (WES) & Work Balance Board (WBB) procedures.
