PURPOSE
- This position exists to render an efficient service on maintaining of plant and equipment and adhering to safety aspects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Observe and adhere to general responsibilities

Inspections and reports

Safety aspects on plant and equipment
- Ensure compliance with all maintenance standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Ensure that electrical, kinetic, and potential energy are neutralized before commencing tasks.
- Do not commence with any tasks if the required safety criteria are not met.
- Report all accidents/incidents and safety deviations to the Foreman.
Maintenance of plant and equipment
- Perform planned and unplanned maintenance.
- Maintain plant and equipment to design capacity.
- Ensure that tools and equipment are kept in a safe working condition.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Grade 12.
- N3 or equivalent.
- Trade Test (red seal) as Diesel Mechanic.
EXPERIENCE
- At least three years’ experience on TMM’s in a mining environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Execute operational and technical duties in line with the organizational directives.

Technical Management
- Responsible for the adherence to technical standards and work methods, in accordance with the organizational and client requirements, policies, procedures and legislation
- Checking that the correct calculations are reflected on the plan, drawings and quantities.
SHEQ Management
- Assist management with results capturing and quality assurance processes as required.
- Checking that all materials and work are to the required specifications.
- Record the condition of the plant and equipment arriving on site on a form with capturing and submitting proof.

Requirements

PURPOSE
- The role is responsible to install, test, repair, inspect and maintain metering and recording instruments, controlling devices, data logging and display equipment, communications, and telemetry systems, and to perform related work as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES

- Installations and Maintenance.
- Installs, maintains, repairs, overhauls, calibrates, and tests a wide variety of industrial instrumentation that record, indicate, control and regulate level, flow, pressure, temperature, position and water analysis.
