    Partner Sales Intern

    The Role 12 month Internship

    Acts as primary point of contact for assigned Partner. Drives revenue growth through Partner. Identifies key players within Partner organization, develops relationships and serves as a liaison between Partner and other Hitachi team members. Identifies unique Partner opportunities and seeks to fulfill them while aligning with Vantara's goals and standards. Educates Partner on solutions, capabilities and tools. Assists with execution against targets.

    Required Qualifications & Experience

    • University degree from a recognized institution is ideal; however relevant work experience will be taken into consideration.
    • Experience in Sales/Business Development (either from IT technology vendor, distributor or system integrator perspective) is preferred.
    • Knowledge of IT
    • Strong business planning and forecasting abilities.
    • Must be able to function independently with minimal supervision
    • Effective communication and presentation skills
    • Strong time management skills
    • Effective relationship building skills
    • Strong leadership and sales skills
    • Ability to influence

    Finance Intern - 12 Months Contract

    The role is based in the Hitachi Vantara Office in Johannesburg, South Africa.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Legal documentation admin related work, such as scanning and filing relevant contracts
    • Provide support to Finance Department and Facilities on creating and receipting Purchase Orders
    • Working with Procurement team to create suppliers on the ERP as and when required
    • Accounts Payable support to local and Controllership teams
    • Foreign payments support to Controllership team
    • Accounts Receivable support to Controllership team
    • Reconciliations between Travel supplier and Bank Statements
    • Interfacing with 3rd parties such as SARS, the banks
    • Local coordination of documents between Controllership, directors and Local Finance
    • Quarterly Financial statistic submissions
    • Ad hoc project support to local Finance Team
       

    Primary Qualifications

    • Experience working in a fast-paced, professional, global business environment
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to work discretely on a wide range of sensitive and confidential issues.
    • Administrative or Bachelor's degree in business related discipline desired
    • Must be fluent in English,
    • Must be self-motivated, demonstrate initiative, and able to work independently on a virtual team.
    • Must be able to prioritize, problem solve and multi-task.
    • Attention to detail and strong organization skills.
    • Customer focused.
    • Comfortable navigating new tools and technology.
    • Ability to learn and apply quickly --as well as to dispense/share knowledge in a team environment.

    Sales Operations Intern - 12 Months Contract

    Sales Operation - 12-month Internship

    Hitachi Vantara is looking for a 12 months intern to work within our EMEA Sales Operations team. It is an exciting time to work for Hitachi Vantara! Our business is designed to leverage the breadth of innovation, development and experience from across Hitachi Group companies to deliver data-driven solutions for commercial and industrial enterprises, by capitalizing on Hitachi’s experience in both informational technologies (IT) and operational technologies (OT).

    You will have the opportunity to understand the operational running of a large Enterprise company the provides storage hardware, software and services.

    Primary Job Responsibilities

    • Supporting sales forecasting methodology and process
    • Ensure forecasts are submitted on a timely manner
    • Collating our win stories for global submission
    • Tracking deal movements on opportunities in SFDC
    • Streamline and automate reporting through Power BI
    • Root cause trends and sales pipeline
    • Preparation of presentations for senior leaders
    • Review existing workflows and processes, then improve and document
    • Ability to question the status quo and provide new techniques
    • Working with global team on global initiatives to improve our sales processes and reporting
    • Support maintenance of sales materials and supporting information in designated information management systems

    Primary Qualifications

    • Either a undergraduate / postgraduate student with either a Business, Marketing, IT, Maths or alternatively apprentice background
    • Proficient with data in excel using pivot tables and advanced formulas
    • Proficient PowerPoint
    • Preferred to have some working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI
    • Clear concise communicator both in written and verbal form
    • Able to work the extra mile to learn and grow
    • Proactive participation in providing innovative ideas and solutions
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
    • Good Planning, Organisational & problem-solving skills
