Purpose: 

• Responsible for month-end processes, journals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Responsible for COGNOS and VAT submissions.
• To ensure accurate financial records concerning reporting both internally and externally.

Responsibilities:

• To facilitate COGNOS submissions timeously on a monthly basis.
• Close off General Ledger and integrate timeously.
• Ensure the integrity of Master Data within the General Ledger.
• Preparation of the VAT return and IT14SD within the allocated timeframe.
• Preparation of monthly treasuring confirmation.

Job Summary

This position requires someone who has a wide range of experience across traditional and Agile lifecycles. Key to this position is a strong technology background, specialising in web-based testing, test case design and execution, automation technologies etc. The candidate will make use of critical thinking and communication skills to ensure continual process and discipline improvement.

Minimum Requirements

• Develop and Implement Web-App Test Plans: Create comprehensive testing plans that detail the scope, approach, resources, and schedule of intended testing activities.
• Design, Write, and Execute Test Cases: Based on the requirements, design, write, and execute test cases to verify that the software works as expected.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced AWS Developer responsible for making our app more scalable and reliable. We are currently deploying infrastructure using cloud formation, and are looking to containerize our application and migrate it to EKS.

Currently, our monitoring is not working well, so you are going to be responsible for setting up a monitoring stack. Those metrics are also going to be used for service capacity planning.

Our deployment model currently uses CloudFormation but Terraform skills would be preferred.
