    Product Support & Sales Representative - Witbank

    Qualifications:

    • N3 or Grade 12 with Maths
    • Trade Certificate

    Experience

    • 4-6 years in the earthmoving industry 
    • 2 years of supervisory experience 
    • Machine Operator License (an advantage)
    • Komatsu Products  (an advantage)

    Specific Knowledge requirements 

    • SAP Quoting - Advanced
    • MS Excel - Intermediate
    • Microsoft Word and PowerPoint - Intermediate
    • CSS Portal KMG – Advanced
    • EPQ Care - Advanced

    Summary description of the role: 

    • Remains up-to-date with safety procedures
    • Plans for safety events and campaigns
    • Takes SHE into account in the planning of work output
    • Plans for inspection of equipment (new and used in stock), about dates, workshops, the nomination of service, stock, and other resources
    • Collates all informative materials, Komtrax registration forms, warranties, and manuals
    • Opens and maintains machine history file for each machine at a customer site

    Manager: eCommerce Sales (Germiston)

    QUALIFICATION:

    B. Com degree in Business Management/ Marekting or related (NQF 7)

    EXPERIENCE:

    • 5 years’ experience in eCommerce within an industrial related sector.

    Artisan: Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Remanufacturing)

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • A Trade Certificate: Heavy Earthmoving Mechanic.
    • Grade 12/ N3 Technical Certificate.
    • Qualified Diesel Mechanic/ Millwright with suitable experience will be considered.

    EXPERIENCE:

    • 5 years post trade on earth moving equipment/ components.

    SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

    • 5 years experience working on earthmoving machinery
    • Experience with remanufacturing of components (essential)
    • Experience stripping and building engines and transmissions (essential)
    • Computer literate
    • Knowledge of failure modes, mechanics, hydraulics, electrical, engineering/ salvaging
    • Have good troubleshooting knowledge of machines & familiar with standard tool requirements
    • Good understanding of maintenance philosophy
    • Valid driver’s license

    Job Specification:

    • Carrying out proper Komatsu product diagnostics, repairs, services, and oil analysis.

    Artisan: Diesel Mechanic

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Heavy Equipment Mechanic/Diesel Mechanic Trade (NQF 4)
    • Grade 12/N3 Technical Certificate/equivalent

    EXPERIENCE:

    • 3 Years' experience on related earth-moving equipment.

    SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

    • Experience with servicing earth moving machinery
    • Have good trouble shooting knowledge on machines & familiar with standard tool requirements

    Job Specification:

    • Participates in workplace safety events.
    • Stay informed about emergency first aid kits/fire extinguishers and evacuations procedures.
    • Operates any vehicles (trucks, car, forklift ) within safety standards and procedures, even when not supervised.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Officer: Component Tracking Systems & Administration

    INTRODUCTION

    This role will administer the tracking of components on customer machines within the Komatsu Global Component Tracking System.

    QUALIFICATION

    • 2/3 year Diploma (Commerce or Engineering) or
    • Trade

    • Administrates job details and costing (work orders) relating to service/parts.
