Officer: Component Tracking Systems & Administration at Komatsu Mining

INTRODUCTION

This role will administer the tracking of components on customer machines within the Komatsu Global Component Tracking System.

QUALIFICATION

• 2/3 year Diploma (Commerce or Engineering) or
• Trade 

EXPERIENCE

• 3 years’ administration experience
• SAP will be advantageous
• Microsoft applications

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs Systems Administration.
• Maintains the machine database regarding customer site names and locations.
• Updates CTS values for selected mining fleet.
• Liaises with technical staff with regard to machine hours and components.
• Maintains data integrity.
• Reports metrics with regard to number of new users, issues/problems and customer feedback.
• Plans and schedules CTS workshops, visits and activities.
• Visits branches / operations.
• Monitors CTS system utilisation.
• Keeps record of machine communications metrics.
• Monitors CTS and Salesforce component replacement.
• Compiles monthly report on utilisation, issues, queries, etc.
• Budgets for the annual license costs.
• Facilitates administration process.
• Monitors overdue components for sales activity.
• Monitors system applications process and progress.
• Compiles monthly report on system status and utilisation.
• Administrates job details and costing (work orders) relating to service/parts.
• Administrates the process for new suppliers/procurement.
• Reports problems and issues immediately for resolution.
• Reports on quotations completed monthly.
