Role Purpose

Role Purpose
- To be responsible for all outgoing and incoming Right of Way applications for LTSA South Region. To liaise between business, municipalities, consultants and contractors on the right of way to connect clients to our network and expand the Liquid Telecom Network.
Role Description
ROW APPROVALS – OUTGOING ROW’S
- Manage of Outgoing ROW’S for the provisioning of new services to enterprise and managed services customers. Managing the ROW requests in preparation and submission of Wayleave Notifications (Excavation and trenchless technology of new network infrastructure).
- Manage outgoing “Right of Way” notifications within agreed SLA’S (Municipalities and other Operators).Manage and resolve all municipal and stakeholder disputes and consult legal counsel where support is needed. Ensure weekly visits are done to all stake holders (utilities and road authorities).
- Liaison and point of contact for Professional Engineering Consultants. Manage and approve proposed ROW plans for civil work in the public road reserves. Support OSP Planning office with providing input into proposed plans to minimize rejections by municipal entities. Manage municipal wayleave account statements.
- Manage and ensure that contractors pay the wayleave fees on time. Manage municipal performance bank guarantees and ensure timeous renewals. Manage and verify contractor quotations with reference to As Built wayleave claims. Update and maintain project database for assigned workload including scheduling, forecasting and tracking of major tasks and milestones.
- Engage with contractors and engineering consultants to ensure additional requirements are met (drill plans, engineering drawings, method statements, reports).Ensuring the verification and submission of all necessary site-specific information. Managing TAT’S and ensure that BPM Tasking is updated. Effectively deal with customer escalations and complaints. Ensuring compliance in wayleave processes in line with stakeholder requirements.
- Manage the processing of Incoming ROW’S from other Operators & Utilities. Manage incoming “Right of Way” approvals within reasonable SLA’s (Municipalities and other Operators).Verifying external applicant’s proposed route against existing network. Dealing and communicating with external incoming wayleave applicants (completion dates, urgent applications, general enquiries etc.).
ROW APPROVALS – INCOMING ROW’S
- Dropping off as well as collecting of external wayleaves (mostly City departments),Ensure that the risk of infrastructure damage is minimized by providing the most accurate information and properly marked designs when responding back to stakeholders. Manage TAT and ensure that BPM Tasking is updated.
REPORTING AND ANALYSIS
- Ensure efficient use of various ERP tools used by the organization to support functional analysis and reporting. Manage business risk by ensuring an accurate database for all aspects of the business. Manage civil work progress with reference to quality complaints to minimize potential public liability claims, Manage all stakeholder complaints and provide regular progress updates.

Description
We looking to appoint a Management Accountant: Payables and Treasury responsible for the accounts payable function, ensuring financial alignment with internal and external stakeholders in handling supplier accounts. Oversee the bank and cash management, treasury operations and compliance dues, in line with the applicable company policies and procedures.
Key Performance Areas
Accounts Payables
- Ensure flawless updating of all supplier accounts in the accounting system.
- Ensure timeous and accurate payments of supplier invoices
- Liaise with procurement and suppliers to ensure all accounts related issues are communicated, and efficiently resolved.
- Ensure all Statutory payments are timeously processed for the respective returns filed as per the applicable Laws.
Bank & Cash (Treasury)
- Liaise with financial planning team to ensure sound cashflow management.
- Prepare bank and cash reconciliations for review by manager, with all reconciling items timeously resolved.
- Process and account for all petty cash and cheque requests, where applicable.
- Liaise with all Banks to ensure that the company is up to date with any changes in banking trends.
Financial Reporting
- Ensure all accruals and provisions are correctly and timeously recorded in their respective ledgers.
- Keep record of a prepayments register and timeously update it.
- Prepare periodic reports on the company’s payables and treasury performance.
