    DevOps Engineer

    About the role: 

    We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer in the technology stacks within your domain and have a general knowledge of technology and tool sets across the wider DevOps environment. You are someone who will create code, testing and operational solutions that also include monitoring and feedback loops to manage the implementation. You roll-out complex infrastructure components and act as a primary resource for supporting and operating existing critical systems. 

    Your contribution will be:  

    • You are sufficiently skilled and experienced in Nintex DevOps tools and processes to contribute to a long-term program or technology such as secrets management, PIM, CosmosDB, Azure Key Vault, etc.  
    • You write tools and utilities that support and integrate with delivery pipelines and you integrate telemetry where appropriate.  
    • You debug and fix infrastructure issues on production environments.  
    • You independently deploy medium to large infrastructure components, via automation, into production while always following Nintex development and deployment guidelines.  
    • You write thorough post-mortems for infrastructure, pipeline, and automation problems, including root cause analysis and contribute to preventative and remedial actions.  
    • You consider relevant quality characteristics of your code and scripts during design and development. You use appropriate tools and processes to ensure quality.   
    • You collaborate with other teams to create prototypes and proof-of-concepts.  
    • You explain DevOps concepts and patterns to other engineers and empower them to contribute independently.  
    • You triage and solve issues correctly and independently.  
    • You contribute to the development of new functions in the more complex areas of DevOps such as continuous integration, new infrastructure, or automated incident mitigation.  
    • You are an active part of the incident management process, including on-call rotation and working with the IM team to resolve incidents. 

    To be successful, we think you need:  

    • 2+ years working in a DevOps capacity
    • Scripting using Powershell
    • Development experience with C#
    • Experience building API's and CI/CD pipelines
    • You have experience working with cloud platforms (we use Azure)
    • You recognize risks in projects, identify requirement gaps and take appropriate mitigations promptly.

    Associate Automation Test Engineer

    About the role:

    Associate Automation Test Engineer knows the ins and outs of the Testing Lifecycle and has experience in Test automation. As an individual contributor, you are building a solid foundation at Nintex. You are focused on tasks assigned to you within your teams. You reliably deliver your work typically with the support of other test engineers. You test software artifacts and assist in minor and medium updates to testing frameworks. You will regularly demonstrate ownership and successful identification of defects. All your deliverables will adhere to Nintex’s Secure Software Development Lifecycle and other relevant guidelines.

    Your contribution will be:  

    • You test product features of small to medium complexity, identify defects, and document them with detailed reproduction steps. 
    • You write automated UI and integration tests of medium complexity, as well as developing and maintaining test cases/scenarios that are aligned with Nintex coding guidelines and engineering principles. 
    • You demonstrate an understanding of CI/CD concepts, test automation concepts and patterns, and using the testing pyramid to identify test candidates for E2E, Integration, Component, and Unit tests. 
    • You attend and contribute to team meetings and ceremonies (daily scrum meetings, planning meetings, demos, and retrospective meetings) 
    • You proactively learn from others' testing and automation best practices while prioritizing learning to support your delivery team. 
    • You own testing activities, seek functional clarity where required, ask questions to understand and improve test coverage, test cases/scenarios, test automation, and prioritize learning to serve your team better. 
    • You proactively make small to medium changes to existing test frameworks and pipelines when appropriate. 
    • You proactively communicate to your team and delivery manager on your work status and seek any help required. 
    • You accept and integrate constructive feedback effectively.  
    • You work with a cross-functional project team collaboratively to achieve project goals. 

    To be successful, we think you need:  

    • Ability to learn fast
    • Writing of scripts & automation tests
    • Able to create test plans
    • Ability to create UI/API automated tests
    • Familiarity with performance and security testing
    • Strong localization and accessibility testing skills
    • Strong debugging skills

    Senior Engineer

    About the role:

    Senior Engineers deliver large projects and work in crucial product areas. Using your experience, you guide other members of your delivery team and help remove blockers. Others seek you out for expert technical guidance. You mentor and build the team's productivity and efficiency.  You build complex and reusable architectures, pioneering best practices that enable engineers to work effectively. You have a consistent record of strong leadership in your (technical) domain. 

    Your contribution will be:  

    • Fullstack opportunity with a frontend focused open on Javacript frameworks, preference towards native, Jquery, Reactjs, along with viable design and architectural approaches for any given problem. 
    • Backend with C#, .net, .net core
    • Cloud preference is Azure development working knowledge or understanding
    • Ship the localization solution and move on the next modernization project which currently updating identity server.
    • Solid SQL database work experience 
    • Clearly communicate the risks, advantages, pros, and cons for each approach in design, architectural, and technical matters. 
    • Making good, fact-based and well-informed decisions around technical debt and trade-offs. 
    • Translate rough ideas into clear executable technical plans with discrete tasks. 
    • Delivering scope faster and facilitate prioritizing the backlog accordingly. 
    • Tackling technical debt proactively. 
    • Be a trusted resource for de-escalation of conflicts and build consensus between team members. 
    • You attend and contribute to team ceremonies and meetings (daily scrum meetings, planning meetings, demos, and development retrospective meetings).   
    • Communicate progress to the team and delivery manager regularly and seek guidance when required. 
    • Regularly contribute new ideas and maintain focus on continual improvement. 
    • Be an active part of the incident management process, including on-call rotation and unblocking technical and operational decisions. 

    To be successful, we think you need:  

    • Deliver positive outcomes while ensuring appropriate engineering decisions are taken by factoring in technical debt, systems design, stability/reliability, and business need. 
    • Ability to contribute to your team and domain through successfully leading and consistently delivering on projects of ambiguous scope, high complexity, and critical business impact. 
    • Quickly resolve priority issues and help other technical team members or Product Managers understand how to avoid them in the future. 
    • Contribute to engineering practice forums (e.g., architecture) and initiatives to improve Nintex’s engineering discipline. 
    • Ability to communicate effectively when representing Nintex to internal and external stakeholders. 
    • Proactively stay up to date with technology trends in your area and use this knowledge to contribute ideas to your team and the broader Engineering practice 
    • Enable teams to improve coding standards and awareness of best practices around non-functional requirements (e.g., performance, testability, scale, and security). 
    • Actively and regularly offer well-considered contributions to the product roadmap. 
    • Ability to foster effective collaboration between product, engineering, and design teams
