    Logistics Admin Clerk

    Job Description
    Summary of Job

    • To provide administrative support to the logistics and operations team by coordinating shipment schedules, processing delivery documentation, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
    • The Logistics Admin Clerk plays a vital role in ensuring efficient material and transport flow throughout the business

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Grade 12 / Matric (required)
    • Qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Administration (advantageous)
    • 1–3 years experience in a similar logistics/admin role
    • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Experience with logistics systems
    • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
    • Good communication and time management abilities

    Key Performance Areas

    • Capture and maintain delivery schedules and dispatch plans
    • Track incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring on-time deliveries

    Assist with transport booking and issuing job cards or trip sheets

    • Prepare, print and file delivery notes, invoices, and shipping documents
    • Ensure all documentation is accurate and signed off by relevant parties
    • Maintain up-to-date records of vehicle movements, stock transfers, and PODs (Proof of Delivery)
    • Compile daily, weekly, and monthly logistics reports
    • Record incoming material and equipment receipts on stock systems
    • Assist warehouse or operations team with basic stock checks and reconciliations
    • Flag and report discrepancies to management
    • Answer and route calls/emails regarding deliveries or collections
    • Support the logistics supervisor with any administrative tasks
    • Maintain updated contact lists of drivers, suppliers, and clients

    Maintenance Technician

    Job Description
    Summary of Job

    • To perform a variety of general maintenance, repair, and handyman tasks to ensure the effective operation, cleanliness, and safety of the Distribution Centre’s buildings, equipment, and grounds.
    • This role supports operational continuity by attending to both reactive repairs and routine preventative maintenance.

    General Maintenance & Repairs

    • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing, carpentry, painting, drywall repair, and general repairs.
    • Fix broken furniture, fittings, doors, gates, and warehouse racking as needed.
    • Repair or replace damaged windows, locks, tiling, etc.

    Electrical & Plumbing Assistance

    • Replace bulbs, tubes, switches, and plugs.
    • Assist with identifying and reporting major plumbing or electrical faults.
    • Liaise with contractors where specialized repair work is required.

    Preventative Maintenance

    • Conduct regular inspections of buildings, equipment, and grounds to identify maintenance needs.
    • Maintain daily/weekly/monthly checklists and logs.
    • Ensure equipment such as hand tools and ladders are in good working condition.

    Grounds & Exterior Work

    • Maintain outdoor areas, including clearing litter, trimming vegetation, and ensuring pathways are safe.
    • Perform minor paving, gutter cleaning, and water drainage checks.

    Safety & Compliance

    • Ensure maintenance tasks are conducted in line with Health & Safety regulations.
    • Report hazards or incidents immediately.
    • Support compliance audits and inspections when needed.

    Support Services

    • Assist in moving furniture, assembling shelving, or supporting warehouse layout changes.
    • Provide support during emergencies (e.g., leaks, power failures, weather-related issues).

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Grade 10 or higher (Matric preferred)
    • Minimum 2–3 years experience in general maintenance or handyman work
    • Knowledge of hand and power tools
    • Basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills
    • Physically fit and able to lift/move heavy items
    • Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures
