    Weighbridge Administrator

    Responsibilities

    • Access and Exit control of loading/offloading product
    •  Documentation control for loading/offloading product
    •  Manage the traffic flow of loading/offloading vehicles
    •  Administration of validations, checks and security measures connected to the weighbridge
    • Administrative checking and processing of ad hoc tasks

    Health and Safety

    • Participate in safety forums created by Soill for example safety meetings and safety talks
    • Follow-up on any activities assigned through safety meetings / committees / representatives / management
    • Report all safety incidents to the relevant people
    • Attend safety education and refresher programmes
    • Comply with safety policies and procedures at Soill
    •  Distribute safety information as and when required
    •  Wear protective clothing (where applicable) at all times

    Requirements

    • Grade 12
    • 2 years administration related working experience
    • Computer literate on MS Office packages

    Senior Project Engineer

    Responsibilities

    • Onsite construction, implementation, and supervision of various projects
    • Onsite commissioning of engineering projects
    • Assist the Engineering Manager: Projects, in any project engineering activities
    • Contribute to the continuous optimization of the production process
    • Draft manuals and procedures as required within the department

    Health and Safety

    Employee management and development

    • Ensure overall compliance to relevant procedures and policies
    • Ensure that all team members have clearly defined job profiles
    • Regular goal reviews are completed to assess achievement of results
    • Support, coaching and mentoring is continuously provided to ensure that objectives are met
    • Appropriate allocation of resources to meet operational demands
    • Ensure adequate succession planning in order to meet ongoing and anticipated business requirements

    Requirements

    Qualification and Experience

    • BEng Mechanical Engineering essential
    • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant working experience
    • Experience within an FMCG environment would be advantageous
    • Experience in mechanical Design, P&ID, Project management, Commissioning and project execution, preferred
    • Hands-on experience in managing a team
    • MS Office Suite
