    Corporate Finance Director

    THE JOB AT A GLANCE:

    You will be the face of the Corporate Finance function. In addition, you will also be responsible for the group’s insurance portfolio and management of the group’s long-term share incentive scheme. In performing your duties, you will work in close partnership with the Finance, Tax, Treasury, Corporate Strategy and Human Resources functions within the Group. When it comes to Corporate Finance, you will also work with outside advisors, including legal and corporate banking.

    M&A activities

    • Manage relationship with the Strategy function, particularly ensuring the provision of adequate due diligence support and other M&A assistance
    • Assistance to the group’s venture capital fund
    • Valuations
    • Liaison with transaction & legal advisors
    • Inputs to, and review of, transaction documents (incl offers, purchase agreements)
    • Investment Committee & Board presentations
    • Ad hoc corporate finance projects

    Insurance

    • Own relationship with insurance broker
    • Oversight of annual insurance premium renewal (including review of insurance declarations,  insurance questionnaires, etc)
    • Attendance of monthly operational meetings
    • Monitoring of insurance claims
    • Review & payment of insurance premiums
    • Governance of insurance structure (including attendance of shareholder/board/premium allocation meetings)
    • Attendance of Operational Risk and Risk & Sustainability Committee meetings

    Share Scheme

    • Measurement of performance conditions
    • Liaison with HR re allocations and vesting of LTI instruments
    • Liaison with actuaries/finance function on IFRS2 valuations
    • Support to HR (including interpretation of LTIP rules)
    • Inputs on Remuneration Report
    • Ad hoc attendance of Remuneration Committee meetings

    QUALIFICATIONS

    ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

    • CA(SA) preferred
    • Strong commercial experience in Corporate Finance
    • A well-developed understanding of the Insurance industry.

    • To realize production objectives of a section in the production department by conformance to product specifications/standards and effective staff management.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Packing Manager

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    What is the primary purpose of your job?

    To manage the units' packing efficiencies, people productivity, and overall capacity of the packing facility to ensure optimum performance of packing equipment, service levels and working capital. Packing Manager to have key exposure to Maintenance Systems, OEE, Breakdowns and pro-active maintenance, Capex motivations, Budget Control, Procurement of packaging and consumables and MRP.
