    Intermediate Software Engineer

    Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:


    • Help to ensure that the integrity of the business domain products are maintained.
    • Follow and contribute to best practices when completing work.
    • Implement and maintain enterprise architecture.
    • 20% of capacity needs to be dedicated to refactoring or maintenance.
    • Research and recommend technology to meet business requirements.
    • Define structure of new modules.
    • Actively mentor and explain programming concepts to junior members.


    • Work with team members to provide story points for upcoming work.
    • Provide technical guidance and feedback to junior members.
    • Provide peer feedback to the engineering team lead.
    • Work with the engineering lead to help grow junior team members.
    • Participate in technical interviews.


    • Communicate progress effectively with team members and business stakeholders.
    • Make sure best practices are followed by team members.
    • Work with juniors to break up tasks into smaller pieces.
    • Drive solutions when maintenance issues arise.

    Things That Should Be In Your Background:

    • ± 3 Years web development experience.
    • A degree in a software development related field.
    • Object orientated experience.
    • Good understanding of PHP, as well as front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and RESTful API.
    • Good understanding of MySQL, Relational Database design and writing SQL queries.
    • Linux command-line and Git experience.
    • Familiar with continuous integration.
    • Ability to work well under pressure.
    • Experience in Moodle framework (beneficial, not required)

    Data Analytics Manager

    The purpose of this role is to serve as an analytics specialist in the business, focusing on advanced data mining, statistical analysis and modeling of data to create solutions that enable enhanced business performance through data-driven insights. Will serve as the Academic product portfolio data science lead and in doing so ensures that roadmap and architecture consider data needs. Actively seeks opportunities to leverage Data Science to enhance product.

    Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:


    • Selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques
    • Use machine learning tools and statistical techniques to produce solutions to business problems
    • Use machine learning tools and statistical techniques to produce solutions to business problems
    • Cleansing and verifying the integrity of data and enhancing data sources where necessary
    • Ensure code is thoroughly tested

    Things That Should Be In Your Background: 

    • ± 5 - 7 years in the Data industry
    • 1+ year’s experience in supervising people and giving guidance to more junior employees
    • Specific qualifications or technical skills 
    • A Bachelor's degree (Stats, Engineering, Business Science preferred)
    • Experience in data analysis and business intelligence
    • Proficiency in SQL
    • Proficiency in R or Python
    • Experience working in statistics
    • Experience in building machine learning models
    • Additional required skills
