    Branch Manager (Newcastle)

    Description

    • Accountable for the profitable management of all divisions of a Retail branch within the constraints of AFGRIGroup strategies and policies.

    Requirements

    REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING    

    • Grade 12
    • Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture / Business / Finance / Management will be an advantage

    REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE            

    • 3– 5 years related management experience in Agri trade environment.

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS         

    • Provide and maintain sound customer relations with internal and external clients (marketing).
    • Maintain control of critical administrative procedures and processes to ensure compliance with relevant policies and legislative requirements (loss control).
    • Ensure a well-managed inventory system.

    Artisan Assistant (x2) (Pietermaritzburg)

    Description

    •  To assist a qualified artisan in the maintenance of all machinery and equipment within the AFGRI Animal Feeds business unit.

    Requirements

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Grade 12
    • 1-year practical maintenance experience within a feed factory environment

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Assist with maintenance tasks, provide recommendations for repairs or replacements, and ensure machine availability.
    • Maintain a clean and hygienic working area, clean tools, and store them properly.
    • Adhere to scheduled working hours and work overtime as needed.
    • Follow safe working procedures, wear PPE, report unsafe conditions, and comply with safety regulations.
    • Monitor and prevent food safety risks, maintain cleanliness, and adhere to cleaning programs.
    • Participate in HACCP team activities, adhere to bio-security programs, and ensure tools and work areas are clean.

    Requirements
    REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING    

    • N2 Qualified Technician

    REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
