    Electrical Artisan

    ROLE PURPOSE

    • To carry out timeous and quality planned, preventative and emergency maintenance on all specified equipment to give effect to the business maintenance strategy and Client service standards

    MAIN OUTPUTS

    • Report for on-site maintenance work and obtain off-site check out on job cards, as per Client and Company requirements
    • Deliver planned and reactive maintenance service covering full hard FM spectrum on electrical installations and minor building works
    • Liaise with the business control centre on maintenance work to be carried and alarm conditions to be activated during the maintenance work, clear and test alarms for functionality post maintenance
    • Carry out task requirements on job cards, as per Client and Company requirements
    • Conduct maintenance of electrical equipment in accordance with maintenance schedules
    • Ensure that preventative or emergency fault rectification complies with the relevant legislation, SLA and job plans
    • Identify potential problems or hazards on Client equipment for investigation, evaluation and resolution
    • Ensure quality of work and timeous completion of all field request
    • Provide constant feedback to the Supervisor & Client on restoration of operations

    QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
    The Applicant must meet the following requirements:

    • N3 - N6 in Electrical Engineering with Trade Test
    • Matric (Senior Certificate)
    • Valid SA Drivers License, Wireman’s License
    • 3yrs relevant experience in the electrical engineering (maintenance) field
    • Practical knowledge on working on air breakers and PLCs
    • MS Word, MS Excel & MS Outlook (Intermediate skill level), SAP Knowledge
    • Knowledge of OHS Act

    Utilities Project Manager

    ROLE PURPOSE

    • Responsible for effective engagement with Admin & Technical Utility Service Providers to ensure efficient query and dispute resolutions, timeous opening and termination of utility accounts. Sourcing key information from Utility Service Providers and other key stakeholders and disseminating it to rest of the Business. Closing out utility transfer between the Stakeholders.

    MAIN OUTPUTS

    • Implement equipment service specifications in accordance with Client and Company requirements
    • Key stakeholder relations management (Utility Service Suppliers, MTN, IHS etc.)
    • Utility query and dispute resolutions.
    • Resonsible for the preparation of the Project Plan & Overlooking the end-to-end project process & reporting.
    • Billing File / Invoicing.
    • New utility account applications and coordinating requests for payments of deposit, connection fee etc.
    • Query resolution.
    • Coordinating and management of technical team requirements (Meter readings, COC’s, circuit breaker assessments, upgrades, repairs etc.)
    • Maintain progress tracker, supplier and client activity reports and other related documents & reports.
    • Professional liaison with internal departments, clients & external bodies.
    • Project milestone tracker.

    • QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

    The Applicant must meet the following requirements:

    • Matric (Senior Certificate)
    • At least an N6 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Finance, Facilities or Project management qualification or studying towards
    • Valid SA driver’s license
    • At least 2 years relevant experience in a utility’s environment, preferably municipal environment / interacting with Utility Service Providers (Municipalities/ Eskom and landlords), managing utility infrastructure, and compliance and audit readiness
    • Computer literacy with sufficient knowledge of MS Office software. (Specifically, MS Outlook, MS Word and strong MS Excel)
    • Sound Electrical background
