    Warehouse Area Supervisor (East End) (Bloemfontein)

    PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

    • The purpose of an Warehouse Area Supervisor is to ensure effective management of stock age, monitor breakages and damages, and supervise warehouse operators handling put away, replenishment, and rotation. They strive to optimize inventory control, maintain product quality, and promote efficient operations within the freezer, chiller, and dry storage areas. By fulfilling these responsibilities, the Area Supervisor contributes to the overall success and performance of the warehouse.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Managing stock age and implementing effective stock rotation practices to ensure proper inventory management and prevent product expiration or obsolescence.
    • Monitoring and overseeing breakages and damages within the freezer / chiller, and / or dry storage areas, taking necessary measures to minimize losses and maintain product quality.

    Operations Manager (Johannesburg) (JHB East Rand)

    PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

    • The Operations Manager ensures efficient and effective operations at the Econofoods Distribution Centre. The role is hands-on and responsible for overseeing all warehouse activities that will be rotated during the day and night shift, including inbound receiving, replenishment, picking, dispatch preparation, and stock integrity.     PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

    • The purpose of a Stock Clerk is to ensure accurate stock records by conducting random checks and reconciling stock movements, identifying discrepancies, investigating queries, and maintaining the integrity of stock information.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
