    Site Supervisor Grade A - Durban

    Job Description
    Site Supervisor 

    • A vacancy exists for Site Supervisor.  The position will report to the Site manager. The main purpose of the position is to ensure that all site specific security requirements are adhered to and that the Client’s needs are efficiently and professionally met at all times.

    Key Performance Areas

    • Maintaining good relations between Fidelity Security Services Group and the Client with regard to security services rendered
    • Constantly evaluating the service levels provided and making recommendations to the Client regarding the improvement of services
    • Ensuring continuous assessment of the Client’s premises and minimizing as far as possible risky access and creating several barriers to would be criminals
    • Auditing and verifying the access registers on a daily basis and generating exception reports
    • Ensuring that all Security Officers on site meet the contractual requirements as stipulated by the Client
    • General management and supervision of security staff and ensuring that all their queries are dealt with promptly
    • Submitting relevant monthly reports to the Client and Management
    • Managing business budget at operational level

    Skills required:

    • Matric certificate and should be Psira Grade A registered and accredited
    • At least 5 years’ experience in security supervising
    • Experience in Quality Management System
    • NOSA\ISO Safety training
    • Must be firearm trained with a clean criminal record
    • Must have firearm competency
    • Should have full knowledge and understanding of the Firearm Act
    • Previous staff supervising experience is required
    • Computer literacy 
    • Strong planning, leadership and organisational skills as well as good interpersonal and communication skills are essential
    • Incumbents should be prepared to work shifts and do site visits after hours
    • Code 8 Drivers licence
    • Must reside in Durban

    Corporate Wellness Manager

    Main Job Purpose:

    • The purpose of the position is to manage and administer company policies and initiatives to promote the employee well-being physically, mentally, and/or financial health based on the comprehensive company health and wellness strategy.  Developing, implements and manage health and wellness programs within an organization to promote employee well-being and productivity.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Grade 12 / NQF 4 or equivalent.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Behavioural or Social Sciences at NQF 6 or similar.
    • 3-5 years' experience as a Wellness Manager or in a similar role.
    • 3 years managerial experience.
    • Experience in the initiation, implementation, and management of Wellness programmes.
    • Knowledge of health and wellness principles, practices, and resources.
    • Presentation skills and above average Power Point proficiency.
    • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
    • Familiarity with mental health resources and support services in the working environment and community.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with employees.
    • Commitment to promoting mental health and wellness in the workplace.
    • Willing to travel where and when required.

    Key Responsibilities/Jobs Objectives (Not limited to):

    • Ensure that wellness days are organised to cover at least 5% of workforce.
    • Ensure that all stakeholders for the wellbeing of the employee are present.
    • Liaise with the Wellness Committee to set up dates for wellness days and places to cover in the financial year.
    • Confirm with branches / business units 4 weeks before the event takes place.
    • Work as per wellness days checklist in the arrangements.
    • Invite other stakeholders in wellness days.
    • Make final confirmation 5 days before the event that everything is in order.
    • Liaise with service providers and work on increasing service providers that will add value to the wellness of the employees.
    • Take pro-active initiatives in cases of pandemics, etc. that needs attention.
    • All events in the calendar to be covered with an activity.
    • Obtain the SA Health Calendar and use it as a base for wellness events.
    • Send out wellness articles or organise activities for some of the days including a wellness day.
    • Communication with Human Capital Community.
    • Organising Microsoft Teams session on wellness topics identified.
    • Ensure that all trauma counselling cases as per trauma counselling policy are processed accordingly.
    • Ensure that all derivatives coming out of trauma counselling are dealt with.
    • Check that all cases identified for trauma counselling as per company policy are forwarded to the service provider.
    • Follow up to ensure that trauma counselling does take place.
    • Deal with challenges that might arise and other developments that can emanate in the process.
    • All claims to be paid.
    • Make a list of all claims pertaining to fractures, loss of limb, disability, and deaths.
    • Assist in getting medical documentation.
    • Ensure that COIDA submit claims.
    • Follow up on payments.
    • Offer wellness assistance in all incidents.
    • Ensure that the Wellness Initiatives Committee is functional.
    • Ensure that HC Managers and other stakeholders are involved in wellness.
    • Setting up a Wellness Initiatives Committee and its guidelines.
    • Setting up wellness structures as and when required.
    • Compilation of weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as per requirements.
    • Compiling a weekly report based on needs of business
    • EXCO report on wellness monthly.
    • TSEC, Fidelity Cares, EB and Group SHE Committees reports on wellness quarterly.
    • Success in the running of initiatives.
    • Drive initiatives with medical benefits service providers.
    • Include FSG internal initiatives in Wellness days namely Fidelity Cares, Fidelity Foundation, Umsuka Wemali, Khula Nathi, etc.
    • Actively add value in sub-committees.
    • Doing and analysing the survey plus action on outcomes.
    • Positive input in sub-committees to make initiative a success.
    • Setting up a wellness survey.
    • Running the survey and analysing outcome.
    • Action outcomes.

    Fleet Administrator - Specialized Services

    Purpose of the Role: 

    • Fleet administration, responsible for supporting the fleet specialised department with regards to all administration 

    Main Responsibilities 

    • Budgeting and cost control. 
    • Track fleet expenses—including fuel, maintenance, and repairs, to improve vehicle efficiency and reduce overall cost.  
    • Analyse spending reports and make recommendations to reduce overheads 
    • Driver Management, assigning vehicles to drivers, track driver performance, behaviour, and compliance with safety regulations 
    • Ensure proper licensing and training of all drivers. 
    • Oversee the use and deployment of vehicles across departments or regions. 
    • Minimise vehicle downtime through timely repairs and servicing. 
    • Receiving of repairs, maintenance, and tyre quotes from all suppliers via email and loading quotes on GreenFleet 
    • Issue pre reference number to dealers for vehicles under maintenance plan 
    • Check history of each vehicle 
    • Flag any discrepancies eg: duplicate repairs, incorrect labour rates, incorrect odo readings etc 
    • Ensure vehicle history report and all relevant documentation is attached prior to sending quotes for approval to Fleet Manager 
    • Create and send purchase orders to relevant parties 
    • Repair cost verification 
    • Follow up with suppliers on invoices and open PO’s 
    • Receive & receipt invoices 
    • Attend to and resolve queries 
    • Load daily quotes received from all suppliers on tracking report 
    • Liaise with suppliers, fleet controllers, fleet managers and internal customers 
    • Order company fuel cards 
    • Consolidate Open PO report and Engen report 
    • Issue licence discs to fleet controllers 
    • Load asset verification photos for private staff on the system 
    • Traffic fines management 
    • Maintain accurate filing records for vehicle fleet 
    • Adhoc administrative tasks as delegated by Admin Manager and Fleet Manager 
    • General administrative duties (printing, scanning etc) 
    • Generate PO’s 
    • Request invoices and receipt 
    • Liaise with supplier and internal customers 
    • Consolidate weekly accidents reports, Open order report 
    • Procurement and Disposals: Complete Capex 2 disposal 

    Accident admin:  

    • Monitor driver behaviour and enforce safety standards. 
    • Handle disciplinary actions and driver-related incidents / accidents. 
    • Captures accidents on Master report 
    • Register claim on GreenFleet 
    • Follow up on outstanding documents (Quotes, presentation, MVA pack etc.) 
    • Prepares quotes for sign off Insurance and Risk Management. 
    • File claims and communicate with legal. 
    • Develop risk management strategies to reduce liability. 

    Education and Qualification: 

    • Gr 12 or equivalent diploma 
    • Fleet or transport diploma will be an advantages

    Experience and Training:

    • Roles combine logistics, administration, and technology to ensure the efficient, safe, and cost-effective operation of fleet  
    • 5 Years’ experience in an administrative role within a fleet maintenance or workshop environment 
    • Relationship building  
    • Knowledge of car parts, service levels, labour rates, licencing and COF’s, tyres etc 
    • Strong technical background 
    • Problem-solving and critical thinking 
    • Time management
