    Inside Sales Account Manager(Gauteng)

    Role Overview:

    • We are looking for an energetic and motivated individual, who have a passion for customers, to join our Inhouse Account Role Responsibilities:
    • An Inhouse Account Manager will influence and serve all Hilti customers, including internal team members and Account Managers who have direct relationships with the Hilti customer experience. The role has a direct influence on the organization’s strategy for sustainable account development.
    • This position is responsible for generating incremental, profitable sales to assigned account base through outbound sales calls, email communications and individual meetings. The Inhouse Account Manager will provide appropriate service and strong knowledge of Hilti products, services, and software to customers, ensuring the successful achievement of company objectives and growth within the scope of the assigned account base.

    What You Need Is:
    To be successful in this role, you will need:

    • Degree / Diploma in Business Management / Marketing (preferred).
    • Min. 2-3 years working in a similar environment. Previous/current sales experience preferred.

    Hilti Store Account Manager (Cape Town)

    Role Overview:

    • We’re seeking a dynamic Hilti Store Account Manager to join our Cape Town sales team and contribute to the success of our National Hilti Retail Team. If you’re passionate about sales and customer engagement, this role offers the opportunity to build extensive product knowledge across the full Hilti catalogue and deliver an exceptional retail and customer experience.
    • This role is designed to prepare you for possible future responsibilities in external account management, where you will be based onsite and engage directly with customers. You will actively and effectively demonstrate, service, train, and (where appropriate) test Hilti products. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of the market and key stakeholders. You will be expected to gather and report insights on competitors, pricing trends, product launches, seminars, new outlets, quality concerns, and delivery performance through monthly reports.

    Role Responsibilities:

    • You will take the ownership in the assigned territory – at our Cape Town Hilti Store(retail)to develop sales by utilizing all elements of our sales process to effectively analyze, implement and control the opportunities within the territory to achieve the assigned targets for defined territory or market segment. As a Hilti Store Account Manager, you’ll look after our retail store, serving local clients ranging from sole traders to large construction projects.
    • It’s a busy, hands-on role, where you’ll demonstrate our products, cross-sell our software and services, and advise customers on the most innovative and cost-efficient solutions for their needs. Between serving customers, you’ll carry out day-to-day processes like entering orders, receiving goods, accepting repairs, managing inventories, and developing a customer base through proactive contact and sales.
    • You will also build fruitful working relationships with all levels - partners, contractors, system integrators & end users, and actively manage and develop the growth of key products within the sales territory by targeting the appropriate customer groups and ensure successful introduction of new products. You will ensure the appropriate level of coverage is given to both buying and potential customers within the customer platform, to develop profitable growth.

    What You Need Is:
    To be successful in this role, you will need:

    • Bachelor’s degree / Diploma (Sales, Marketing, Business, or industry related) – Is advantageous.
    • Min 2 - 4 years client- facing sales experience and/or customer experience. 
    • Superior verbal and written English communication skills.
    • Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
    • A high level of English communication skills.
    • An analytical, result-oriented, and pro-active mindset with a team oriented, self-driven attitude.
    • A proven track-record as a top-performer who consistently meets and exceeds goals.
    • A willingness to work in a sales-driven environment.
