    Web Designer

    Why this role is exciting:

    Join an exciting Design and Marketing team based in Cape Town which services our entire global tech company. Our market leading brand allows for some conceptual and creative design thinking, as we create a new category in the tech space. You will work with three local designers in your team, and your New York based manager, as well as the rest of the marketing team based across Cape Town, New York, California, London and Sydney. Show us your jaw dropping web design talents and we would love to have you join the team!

    Responsibilities:

    •  Design branding and develop digital and website/mobile site marketing materials for impact.com (email designs, landing pages, web banners, mobile site designs, event splash pages, etc.)
    • Creation, development, and execution of creative digital marketing programs that meet ability strategic and tactical marketing objectives. Oversee web design projects from start to finish.
    • Must have the ability to convey concepts through storyboards and verbal communication.
    • Oversee the design and copywriting of all internal and external marketing projects, working with other Impact departments, and sub-departments within marketing, such as Product Marketing and Content Marketing. Foster teamwork with internal departments such as Development, to set an environment conducive to idea exchange, support and excitement for our services and products.
    • Strength in project management and the ability to multitask and establish personal objectives to meet established deadlines.
    • Excels creatively, maintains knowledge and awareness of on-going trends and best practices in digital media. Shares best web practices and new approaches to creative, branding and user experience with other design personnel.
    •  Execute conference calls in the evening as needed to facilitate collaboration with US personnel. Direct Manager based in New York, with Designers based in Cape Town, along with other Marketing team members.

    Does this sound like you?

    • A Bachelor’s degree in design or a related field. The equivalent in work experience will be considered.
    • 3+ years creative services in Web/UI design.
    • Previous business-to-business marketing experience required.
    • Excellent computer skills including but not limited to: Adobe Creative Suite, G Suite, Sketch, Figma, In-Vision, Balsamiq.
    • Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
    • HTML and Wordpress
    • Responsive Design
    • High level capabilities of design concepts (color, typography, scale, proportion).

    Web Operations and SEO Specialist

    Why this role is exciting:

    We are looking for a highly technical,analytical and data driven marketer who is passionate about web analytics and SEO. Provide actionable insights from our myriad of data sources to drive business growth and leads. Join an exciting Marketing team based in Cape Town which services our entire global tech company. 

    Work with the Cape Town marketing team (design, web dev, social), and report to the Director of web & social marketing and design, as well as working with the rest of the Marketing team based across New York, Santa Barbara, London and Sydney.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct content gap analysis, keyword opportunities, and competitive audits, and regularly audit the corporate website for SEO friendliness and improvement opportunities, as well as site architecture and technical infrastructure for SEO optimisations.
    • Own the roadmap for on-page and off-page SEO programs and growth opportunities, prioritising initiatives based on level of impact and level of effort.
    • Monitor and report on SEO performance utilising tools such as Moz. Report on data such as domain/page authority, branded & non-branded keywords, organic traffic, traffic sources and keywords.
    • Work with marketing teams such as Content and Product Marketing in New York to monitor and grow quality inbound links, and recommend content themes and content creation that will drive SEO value.
    • Work closely with the Marketing Web Dev team in Cape Town to ensure recommendations are implemented correctly and prioritised for most impactful results. Create info architecture recommendations for all new website page or landing page builds. Ensure all page titles and descriptions across the website are optimised and updated when needed. Own all recommendations for redirects and changes.
    • Own the Marketing operations for the Web & SEO teams, with ownership of Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Google Tag Manager, Google Webmaster, and regular report updates.
    • Comfortable with A/B testing through platforms such as Google Optimize. Comfortable with new tech, assist the Web team in rolling out new or advanced tech solutions to streamline or improve data collection or web results.

    Does this sound like you?

    • Strong collaboration and project management experience
    • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
    • 4-6 years of technical SEO experience
    • Experience with Marketo and Salesforce advantageous
    • Experience with Google Suite including Analytics, Data Studio, Optimize, Tag Manager and SEO platforms like Moz
    • Bing Webmaster Tools and Baidu (China) experience advantageous
    • Comfortable in Excel
