    Oracle Systems Analyst

    Analyse and advise the business on business requirements and design and implement within constraints. Individually accountable for achieving results through own efforts.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Analyses system and business processes to determine problems, risks and opportunities for the improvement of the business environment.
    • Provides guidance and works closely with business owners, relevant users and project manager to facilitate, design and implement solutions within constraints.
    • Documents requirements, including data flows.
    • Owns relevant modules, test systems, user acceptance testing and implementation of changes and new business requirements on test and live systems.
    • Preparation of training, user, test script and procedural manuals.
    • Training of business users.
    • Maintenance, troubleshooting and rendering of support of relevant modules.
    • Log and monitor SR (service requests) with Oracle Corp Support timeously.

    Oracle Skills / Experience

    • Have experience and knowledge of Oracle Finance, Oracle Procurement and Oracle Supply Chain.
    • Working knowledge of query tools (SQL Developer).
    • Knowledge of System Administration functions like flex fields, workflow, profile options, value sets, request groups, responsibilities, menus, etc.
    • Understanding of multi-organization and multi-currency functionality.
    • Prepare functional specifications.
    • Experience logging Service Requests with Oracle to resolve problems.
    • Experience in doing research on Oracle website.

    Junior Oracle Developer

    The Junior Oracle Applications Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing and integrating Oracle e-Business Suite applications with other systems, and providing ongoing support and future enhancements of those solutions.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Responsible for ensuring KPMG SA’s Oracle EBS portfolio of applications are designed to meet evolving business requirements and meet coding and application standards for reliability, scalability, availability, and usability.
    • This position will also work with team members as needed to scope, design, develop, test, support and enhance Oracle e-Business Suite, Oracle SOA and Oracle ADF solutions.
    • Design Develop utilities to ensure we have modular approach in programming for uniformity & to improve productivity.
    • Work with Oracle functional business and system analysts to gather business requirements, translate them into specifications documents.
    • Responsible for coding and unit testing application software across production support, enhancements and projects.
    • Work under the supervision or mentorship of the Oracle Application Developer to translate business requirements into logical, component-based technical designs.
    • Meet service level agreements for production support response and resolution.
    • Design and develop technical solutions to a pre-defined requirement and develop components including extensions, views, customizations, modifications, reports, and workflows under the mentorship and guidance of the Oracle Application Developer or as a part of a team.
    • Follow documentation, software development methodology, version control and testing, and migration standards.
    • Ability and willingness to learn regarding the applications and their ecosystem.
    • Review of code and ensure adheres to industry best practices and KPMG Coding standards.
    • Participate in analysis discussions to ensure the business requirements are met.

    • Some experience with RICE (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions), Forms, BI Publisher Reports/XML Publisher, Workflow, OAF, sqldeveloper and Linux Shell Scripting.
    • Exposure to one or more of the following Oracle EBS modules: Financials, Projects, Procurement, Asset Management, HR and Payroll.

    End User Computing (EUC) Specialist

    The EUC Specialist is responsible for overseeing and executing all technical requirements for development of the End User Computing requirements for KPMG South Africa.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Design, build, deployment and maintenance of the end user image (Global Desktop), on the basis of what is provided by ITS Global, and in terms of global standards, business requirements and best practice, for KPMG SA and Africa Shared Services customers.
    • Maintenance of the Group Policy for EUC environments, including AGPM and the Policy management of the desktop environment for KPMG SA. Support for GPO for Africa Shared Services countries is only for escalations.
    • Responsible for administration, management and deployment of SCCM end-user components, such as software deployment, security updates (patching), advertisements and collections, for KPMG SA and Africa Shared Services customers.
    • Reporting for all SCCM end-user related elements, including Patch compliance for KPMG SA and remediation in this area.
    • Support and administer the MobileIron environment, including responsibility for policy creation and administration, ensuring device compliance, and second level support for end-user interactions in this area.
    • Provide 2nd level and escalation support for core applications included in the standard Desktop environment, including Microsoft Office, Acrobat, Chrome, Cibecs, etc

    Relevant Skills

    • Relevant Tertiary/IT qualification
    • Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft SCCM, including OSD/Task Sequences, Client deployment, Security Updates, and issue remediation
    • Comfortable to lead in their area of expertise, but also able to follow as required by the team
    • Good organisational skills to ensure effective planning and prioritisation takes place regularly
    • Proven experience supporting core business applications for a medium to large firm at a 2nd\3rd level
    • Good working knowledge of Microsoft services (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS)
    • Strong understanding of PowerShell/Windows Scripting
    • Create and maintain Technical Documents, Support and Operations manuals and Knowledge Base articles
    • Experience\Understanding of ITIL Concepts, Change Management Processes, Incident and Problem management
    • Ability to deal effectively with individuals at all levels
    • Must be very detail orientated understanding that tasks are only done once all steps have been effectively completed
