    Finance Manager

    Purpose of the position:

    • The Finance Manager will be responsible for overall financial management, audit and compliance, reporting, Stakeholder Management and staff management. This role focuses primarily on Centres for Disease Control (CDC) projects within the organisation.

    Minimum requirements:

    • CA (SA) and at least 3 years experience in finance, accounting, budgeting and management; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • At least 2 years post articles experience.
    • Knowledge of financial accounting systems (e.g. SAP).
    • PEPFAR audit experience will be a great advantage.
    • Ability to work with and create financial modelling tools within Microsoft Excel (advanced).
    • Report writing.
    • Clear credit and criminal record.
    • Ability to communicate in English.
    • Valid code 08 drivers licence.

    Responsibilities:

    Financial management and accounting

    • Supervise and manage project bookkeeping including cashbook processing and journals.
    • Ensure the preparation of bank reconciliations and reviews.
    • Provide oversight and compliance on project debit cards, staff debtors and expense claims.
    • Ensure all funder and statutory deadlines are met.
    • Provide financial management support to programme directors.
    • Provide assistance to departments for finance-related activities.
    • Review and release electronic payments and transfers.
    • Ensure completeness and accuracy of the fixed asset register. 
    • Overall responsibility of the financial management / trial balance as allocated.

    Auditing and compliance

    • Ensure accurate accounting for VAT Overall responsibility for the preparation and execution of all fund related audits (internal and external).
    • Assists with preparation and execution of statutory audits.

    Cash flow management

    • Ensure adequate cash-flow management.
    • Ensure loan account and inter account transfers are done.

    Reporting and budgeting

    • Ensure all monthly expense claims and financial reporting are prepared and submitted to funders on time.
    • Provide insight to senior management, board and external parties through review of financial reporting for projects.
    • Ensure that all reports are reconciled to the underlying financial system.

    Stakeholder management

    • Maintain and build relationships with internal and External Stakeholders. 

    People management

    • Ensure high level plans are communicated and assigned to the team.
    • Engage in the performance review process.

    Client Support Specialist

    • A leading payment aggregator and provider of Secure Payment Solutions is looking for a Client Support Specialist to fulfil various administrative and support duties within a fast-paced environment. As a key entry point for networks and billers, the role will provide support across various business development and sales functions. 
    • This role requires quick turn around times and willingness to assist with various tasks impacting client relationships.

    Responsibilities will include:

    • Onboarding of our client's billers, ensuring that workflow and system requirements are met (this includes completing documents, performing compliance and KYC checks, and uploading of all supporting information).
    • Identify correct onboarding process for billers and direct accordingly.
    • Manage various portals and inboxes, ensuring compliance with specifications for applications.
    • Escalate any issues to the Customer Relationship Manager where applicable.
    • Updating of biller details on the Onboarding and Integrations workflow system.
    • Perform compliance checks on billers requesting changes to their current profile.
    • Forward relevant documentation to Accounts department for sign-off.
    • Assist with preparing Tender files according to our client's standard for Tenders.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • 3 - 5 years experience in a similar customer support role.
    • Full understanding of the Microsoft suite, specifically Excel (including formulas and pivots).
    • Experience in the Financial Services industry with focus on the payments industry is advantageous.
    • Valid drivers license and reliable transport.
    • Fluent in English and a good understanding of Afrikaans. Any additional language will be seen as beneficial.

    Senior Business Analyst

    The Role:

    • Our client is looking for an exceptional Senior Business Analyst to join their dynamic team based in Johannesburg. This role is about solving problems with fit-for-purpose analytics techniques. 

    The Role Includes:

    • Define business needs by engaging with the Product team and any other relevant Stakeholders (young people, employers, partners, funders).
    • Define experiments and success metrics to determine the best approach to meet the business needs.
