    Administration Clerk: Patient Administration

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent qualifications. Basic Computer Literacy. Good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written). Understanding of customer care and Batho Pele Principles. Willing to work under pressure.

    Duties:

    • Capturing of patients records on PIES system, filling of patients files, handling of funds if necessary, Handling of enquiries related to patients.  Opening of new patient files and accounts on PEIS, Complete relevant information pertaining patient details.
    •  Determine the fee classification in terms of UPFS: verify classification by obtaining necessary information from patients. Rendering variety of administrative duties such as typing of documents, filing of records, photocopy documents and registering of incoming and outgoing documents.
    • Assist in collecting statistics. Handle routine enquiries; distribute documents/packages to various stakeholders as required.  Keep and maintain the filing system for the component. Type letters and/or other correspondence when required. Handle telephone accounts and petty cash for the component.

    Provisioning Administration Clerk

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent qualifications. Basic Computer Literacy. Good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written). Understanding of customer care and Batho Pele Principles. Willing to work under pressure.

    Duties:

    • Render asset management clerical support.  Compile and maintain records (e.g asset records/databases).  Check and issue furniture, equipment and accessories to components and individuals. Identify redundant, non-serviceable and obsolete equipment for disposal. Verify asset register. Render demand and acquisition clerical support. Update and maintain a supplier (including contractors) database. Register suppliers on Logis or similar system. Request and receive quotations.
    • Capture specification on the electronic purchasing system. Place orders. Issue and receive bid documents. Provide secretariat or logistical support during the bid consideration and contracts conclusion process. Place orders for goods. Receive and verify goods from suppliers. Capture goods in registers databases. Receive request for goods from end users. Issue goods to end users. Maintain goods register. Update and maintain register of suppliers.

    Enrolled Nurse/ Staff Nurse Grade 1

    Requirements:

    • Senior Certificate plus Certificate of Registration as an Enrolled Nurse or Staff Nurse. Current registration with the South African Nursing Council as an Enrolled Nurse or Staff Nurse. Good interpersonal skills.

    Duties:

    • Demonstrate understanding of nursing legislation and related legal and ethical nursing practices. Work within a structured environment. Facilitate and monitor patients’ health education programme (NTCP). Facilitate effective discharge processes. Ensure proper record keeping. Maintain standards to improve nursing care.     • Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC), as a Nursing Assistant. Knowledge of nursing care, processes and procedures. Ability to function within a community. Provide healthcare services. Good communication skills and keep patient information confidential. 

    Duties:

    • Practice nursing in accordance with relevant laws and regulations of nursing. Maintain ethical standards of nursing, including professional development. Provide elementary nursing care, which entails clinical observation, maintenance of hygiene and nutritional status of patients. Create a safe and therapeutic environment.
    • Be responsible for the efficient and effective utilization of resources. Render support to Nursing Professionals. Assist patients with activities of daily living.     Data Capturer: Malaria Control Programme

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent qualifications. Basic Computer Literacy. Good interpersonal and communication skills (Verbal and Written). Understanding of customer care, Batho Pele Principles, Administration experience and previous data capturing and administration work will be an added advantage.

    Duties:

    • Capture data from available records into the required formats e.g database, tables and spreadsheets. To verify missing data and errors observed during data entries. Review and analyze all data from the records. Timeously and promptly submit reports. Analyze data to advice on needed trainings to be conducted.
    • Regularly conduct data validations and data back-up. Update registers and statistics, keep and maintain records and files.  Collect files and record information accurately. Ensure records and files are properly sorted and secured and provide information to relevant senior officials. To arrange data review meeting for the sub-district.
    • To assist in producing indicator sets for the sub-district for monitoring and evaluation purposes. To capture all malaria data including, cases, spraying, entomology and health promotion.
