    Collections Agent (ACS) Mr Price Money - Night Shift

    Job Description

    • Collections Agent contacts arrear account customers to collect on their overdue instalments for all our lending products which minimize bad debt write-offs.   

    Responsibilities

    Qualifications

    • Minimum Grade 12 qualification
    • 6-12 months in Debt Collection, ideally within a Call Centre environment.
    • Familiarity with the life cycle of an account, the collection process, and the systems that support these processes.
    • Proficiency in MS Office. 
    • Excellent telephone etiquette, strong customer service orientation, meticulous attention to detail, and a collaborative team player.

    Artisan Assistant Mr Price Group

    Job Description

    • Mr Price Logistics is looking for a qualified and experienced Artisan Assistant, the role will be based at the Mr Price Group DC in Hammersdale. The successful individual will provide support and assistance in maintaining operational equipment through planned preventative maintenance, thereby eliminating unplanned production lost time and extending the life span of equipment. 

    Responsibilities

    • To attend to mechanical installations and repairs, to improve efficient running of operations.
    • Assist and support artisans in fault finding on breakdowns.
    • Inspect building and site regularly to identify problems i.e., water leakages; broken fence; the need for welding and all necessary maintenance.
    • Assist with the replacement of worn or damaged motor parts/components.
    • Check oil levels, electronic components and breaking devices and replacing defective parts.
    • Checking the operating functionality of safety and warning devices and attending to the replacement thereof.

    Operations Technology Support Technician

    Job Description

    • To provide frontline support for all operational technology systems within the Distribution Centre, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance of automated and semi-automated systems, including conveyor systems, scanners, PLCs, WMS interfaces, RMS and network-connected devices.

    Responsibilities
    Technical Support

    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with warehouse control systems (WCS), Robotic Management System (RMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and related hardware.
    • Provide hands-on support for barcode scanners, label printers, handheld terminals, and other operational devices.
    • Monitor and maintain PLC-controlled systems and conveyor automation.

    Preventive Maintenance

    • Conduct routine checks on operational technology infrastructure.
    • Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule and perform preventive maintenance on integrated systems.

    System Monitoring & Reporting

    • Monitor system performance and generate reports on uptime, faults, and trends.
    • Escalate recurring issues and assist in root cause analysis.

    Project & Change Support

    • Assist in the rollout of new technologies, upgrades, and system integrations.
    • Support testing and commissioning of new equipment or software.

    Collaboration

    • Work closely with IT, engineering, and operations teams to ensure alignment and rapid issue resolution.
    • Liaise with vendors and service providers for escalated support and warranty claims.

    Qualifications

    • Diploma or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or Information Technology.
    • 2+ years’ experience in a distribution centre, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
    • Familiarity with:
    • PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley)
    • SCADA or HMI systems
    • WMS/WCS platforms
    • Networking basics (TCP/IP, switches, Wi-Fi)
    • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
