    General Worker Stacker

    Job Purpose

    • To ensure that all aspects of the Promix department is attended to as per safety standards and operational requirements.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manually remove materials and products from machines and equipment
    • Stack /palletizes finish cases on appropriate pallets
    • Inspect materials and products for defects
    • Date codes each case with the proper manufacturing product sticker
    • Participate in any Physical Labour work required
    • Assist in lifting, carrying and moving heavy loads as required +-25kg
    • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
    • Fills out finish goods tickets with all required information in a neat and accurate manner.
    • Produce quality stacked Product.
    • Assist maintenance with troubleshooting.
    • Check all bottom and end seals for quality.
    • Perform sanitation duties as assigned.

    Qualification Requirements    

    • Matric / Grade 12

    Experience Requirements    

    • 1 year milling industry experience
    • 6 months - 1 years’ experience as a stacker

    Production Manager Promix

    Purpose of the job:

    • To lead a high-performance production/packing team to deliver our products that meets desired quality and cost specifications. (The Premier way). 

    What will you do:

    • To ensure Mixing and Packing process delivers consistent high-quality products in line with required specifications by:
    • Adapting process as required to optimise production efficiencies and product quality
    • Control process variations to ensure product quality
    • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure continuous operations in the value chain.
    • Optimize production gain (throughput)

    Ensure cost effective raw material management by:

    • Understanding formulas challenges of the raw materials in the delivery pipeline
    • Optimizing the throughput in line with the product quality required
    • Monitoring stock levels in line with plans and demand.

    Ensure high performance culture in the production team by:

    • building and motivating capability though competency-based selection
    • training and development, coaching, mentoring, performance management
    • effective communications
    • leading and participating in Invocoms and meetings as needed
    • ensuring good discipline and accountability
    • establishing good working relationships with union representatives
    • ensuring a conducive and safe working environment according to the Premier way.
    • To ensure full statutory and regulatory compliance to all health and safety and food safety requirements in line with Premier standards and SOP’s by ensuring training of relevant personnel, audits and corrective action of all findings in collaboration with the risk function.

    •  To ensure continuous improvement of the production process and function through:
    • Ensuring a culture of learning and continuous improvement in the Invocom
    • Perform route cause analysis when needed and ensure corrective action with relevant stakeholders
    • Driving continuous improvement of production processes based on the feedback from quality and the production team and doing internal and external benchmarking from time to time.
    • To ensure optimal plant asset management through implementation timeous corrective and preventative maintenance in accordance with company SOPs and maintenance system.

    Warehouse Checker

    Job Purpose

    • To ensure accurate, safe, and compliant warehouse operations by verifying picked and received stock, maintaining product integrity and traceability, supporting effective stock control, and enforcing health, safety, food safety, and housekeeping standards in line with Premier FMCG policies and procedures

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensure Accuracy of Stock Handling by: Verifying the accuracy of all picked, received, loaded, and staged stock by checking quantities, batch numbers, best-before dates, pallet conditions, and documentation to prevent errors, losses, and customer claims.
    • Maintain Stock Control and Inventory Accuracy by: Supporting effective stock management by updating bin cards, participating in stock counts and daily cycle counts, and ensuring full traceability and alignment between physical stock and system records.
    • Maintain Housekeeping and Audit Readiness by: Promoting and maintaining Premier FMCG housekeeping and “clean-as-you-go” standards to ensure a safe, organised, and audit-ready warehouse environment.
    • Support Team Performance and Operational Compliance by: Supporting team adherence to operational, HR, and Invocom requirements, including time and attendance, equipment inspections, continuous improvement initiatives, and achievement of daily targets.
    • Reduce Warehouse Damage and Losses by: Identifying, record, report, and manage damaged stock and pallets in line with procedures, ensuring correct repacking, disposal, accountability, and photographic evidence where required.
    • Ensure Health, Safety and Food Safety Compliance by: Adhering to and enforce occupational health and safety, SHE, and food safety standards, including allergen control, stock rotation, stacking height limits, and hygiene requirements.
    • Ensure Documentation and Traceability Compliance by: Ensuring all inbound and outbound documentation, picking slips, receiving documents, loading records, and CHEP pallet transactions are completed accurately

    • 2- 3 Years Picker in an FMCG environment
    • Warehouse Related Learnership is an added advantage

    Driver Link

    Job Purpose

    • The transport the product from one place to another on time and in full on daily basis.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the vehicle.
    • Day to day inspection of the vehicle and reporting of all faults and serious mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel
    • Completing vehicle inspection sheet and refuelling of vehicles
    • Loading and off-loading various foods products including pallets
    • Keep the truck, and associated equipment, clean and in good working order.
    • Ensure adherence to the Road Traffic Act and ensure the safety of other road users
    • Abide by the regulations as set out in Occupational Health and Safety Act,
    • Abide by company policies and the regulations of the road.
    • Ensuring the vehicles are loaded correctly as well as checking documentation against the loads
    • Ensure that correct quantities and loads are delivered
    • Ensure all proof of deliveries are signed on delivery as well (POD’s, etc)
    • Navigate your way around Gauteng and surrounding areas
    • Maintaining company vehicle in a good condition /good housekeeping

    Qualification Requirements    

    • Grade 12 certificate

    Experience Requirements    

    • 5-10 years driving experience preferably on a Scania, M Benz and MAN vehicle
    • Valid, unendorsed Code 14 driver’s license with valid PrDP

    Assistant Transport Technical

    Purpose of the job:     

    • Responsibility of maintaining and inspecting transport vehicles effectively, carry out running repairs, breakdowns and assist transport administrator with related administrative duties.

    Main Objectives
