    Supply Chain Subject Matter Expert – Connected Supply Chain

    This role is a Supply Chain Management domain/SME able to implement and take to market the Connected Supply Chain GTM plays - Senior role in the supply chain domain specifically Network design, Inventory Optimization, Supply Chain – Planning and Modeling with strong technology background. Someone that can be left to guide and run a project.

    Qualification requirements:

    • A Master Degree (MS / MBA) in Supply chain, Industrial Engineering etc. will be a plus.
    • Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics.

    Experience requirements:

    • 8-12 years of work experience in consulting and non-consulting roles.
    • A cross-industry experience will be a plus

    Responsibilities:

    Delivery:

    • Identify and scope operations improvement opportunities for clients across value chain (Plan, Source, Make, Deliver)
    • Document client requirements, business environment, people capabilities and technology architectures
    • Fulfill the lead role in client supply chain related industries engagements and industry solutions and tools
    • Understand and interpret business requirements
    • Conceive innovative solution for clients
    • Manage sub team delivery on assignment
    • Actively participate and manage portions of project delivery
    • Think independently and creatively when formulating solutions
    • Fulfil various project assignments as required
    • Participate in the design and delivery of end-to-end business solutions which could be enabled by technology
    • Develop a working knowledge of current technologies and their applications within a business context
    • Lead role in relevant industries
    • Lead delivery teams of consultants and ensures quality delivery
    •  Support and take on minor project management activities

    Sales:

    • Conceive innovative solutions for clients
    • Actively contributes to the compilation of proposals and bid documentation
    • Engage with clients in identify opportunities for improvements within their businesses
    • Shares responsibility for business development initiatives

    Relationships:

    • Be able to build and sustain professional relationships both within PwC and externally
    • Actively collaborate with colleagues in solving challenges
    • Build effective relationships with team members that you lead

    Skills requirements:

    • Have a very good understanding distribution, manufacturing and retail environments
    • Have a track record in delivering improvement projects in Supply Chain diagnostics, optimization and solution implementation.
    • Have an understanding of project management tools and techniques
    • Have experience in and an understanding of business process modelling techniques
    • Experience in systems development and SDLC methodologies will be an added advantage
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize and coordinate tasks to meet multiple deadlines
    • Must be a self-starter, motivated individual who works well under pressure
    • Manage and plan own work
    • Open-minded, practical and able to solve problems
    • Attention to detail and committed to quality
    • Ability to perform quality reviews on others work and provide constructive feedback when required

    Manufacturing Specialist - Smart Manufacturing

    PwC Operations Transformation Consulting has an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Specialist within a Smart Manufacturing team where you will be involved in business consultation and transformation, process related work, and application of technology to solve business challenges.

    Qualification Requirements:

    • Relevant B. Degree in Industrial or Chemical Engineering; or

    • Accreditation requirements:
